Mark walked over to the counter and took out the bread before turning to the fridge. He grabbed the ham, cheese and some vegetables. Jack hummed softly. Mark made Jack's sandwich first, glancing at him every now and then.
"What do you want to drink?"
"Milk or water please" Jack said and started kicking his feet a little. Mark nodded, and figured milk would be better for his health.
'Eye candy' Jack thought 'wait what? I can't fall for Mark you saw what happened last time' Jack just smiled and watched Mark.
Mark set a glass of milk and his sandwich in front of him, "There you go. I hope you like it" he said, going back to the counter to make himself a sandwich.
"Thank you" Jack started eating his sandwich. Mark was soon done with his own and sat down in front of him, choosing a glass of juice for himself.
"You're welcome kitten" Jack finished half his sandwich quickly and drank some of his milk. Mark watched him eat as he ate. God... Jack was so cute. Jack started eating the other half of his sandwich.
"Do you like it?" Mark asked, and took a sip of his juice. Jack nodded and smiled. Mark smiled back, eating again. Jack finished and took his dishes to the sink. Mark kept eating and glanced at him curiously. Jack sat back down at the table and saw Mark staring at him.
  "Did I do something wrong?"
"Oh, no" Mark smiled, "I guess I'm not used to you yet, I've lived alone for a while now" he said honestly. "I'm glad you're here"
"Oh, why do you live alone?" Jack asked wanting to know a little about Mark. Mark sighed softly, "None of my previous relationships worked out, the press got in the way too much or we simply had problems. I think I just stopped caring about dating"
  "Oh I'm sorry" Jack said.
"It's fine kitten" Mark finished his sandwich and looked up at Jack. "I got you now"
Jack smiled. Mark leaned forward and ruffled Jack's hair. Jack purred slightly. Mark stood up and took out his plate to the dishwasher, along with Jack's, "What's your favorite color?" he asked.
"Green, what's yours?" Jack laughed. Mark grinned, "Green and pink, but I love red too. I should've guessed from your hair"
"What? oh ya!! I dyed it myself" Jack smiled proudly.
"Really? It looks great!" Mark smiled.
"Thanks" Jack laughed. Mark smiled wider,
"I'm glad to see you happy"
"I have to redye it soon though" Jack frowned looking at his hair. Mark nodded, "Do you want the same color?"
"I want neon green this time!!"
"Oh, that would look nice" Mark nodded and smiled.
"ya" Jack smiled. Mark walked over to the door and took out his phone, "I'll get my laptop and we'll see what clothes we can get  you alright? I'll buy your hair dye too"
"Thank yo-YOU PROMISED COOKIES" Jack yelled. Mark laughed and nodded, "Jeez, you can be loud" he said as he walked back into the kitchen, taking out a container.
"Sorry" Jack laughed. Mark opened the container and took out a couple of cookies, putting them on a plate and setting it in front of Jack. "It's fine"
Jack smiled and bit a cookie. "mmmmm thank so so so much"
Mark nodded and patted his hair, "...you have beautiful eyes"
"I'll haven't seen them in a while" Jack said barely a whisper and ate another cookie and smiled again.
"What?" Mark blinked, "You've haven't looked at yourself in a mirror?!"
"I wasn't allowed" Jack said. Mark sighed softly and shook his head, "Alright, when you're done eating we're going to the bathroom," he said, honestly surprised.
"Is that a store like place?" Jack asked confused.
"It's the room you took a bath in, there's three in this house" Mark scratched the back of his head.
"oh" Jack finished his cookies with a smile. Mark smiled and brought Jack's plate to the sink, "You really need to see how gorgeous you are"
"I'm not gorgeous" Jack replied, his ears drooping. Mark shook his head and walked towards him, "Of course you are, come on" he gestured him to follow. Jack followed Mark. Mark walked into the bath room and turned on the lights, "This is the biggest mirror I have"
Jack looked at himself. He moved his hands and touched his ears.
  "That's me?"
"Yes" Mark looked at him from the side,  "That's you"
Jack smiled and looked at himself.
"My eyes are blue" Jack said happily.
"Yep, and they're beautiful" Mark nodded. Jack blushes slightly.
"What's that?" Jack asked pointing to his cheeks.
"What? Your cheeks?" Mark asked, walking over behind him.
"They're red?" Jack leaned closer to the mirror.
"Ah, you're blushing, that's why" Mark smiled wider.
"Oh" Jack looked at his ears and smiled   "They're light brown right?" Jack asked. "Yes, like your tail" Mark nodded. Jack laughed.
"You're beautiful" Mark said softly, looking at him on the mirror. Jack smiled.
"Thank you" Mark grinned and patted his hair, "You see how gorgeous you are?"
"Not as gorgeous as you" Jack said. Mark blushed softly and placed a hand on Jack's head, "Oh, is my kitten flirting?" he chuckled.
"What's flirting?" Jack asked confused. Mark hummed and looked up at the ceiling,  "It's... Saying or doing things to someone you like, to uh... Let them know you like them and uh... Be with them..." he mumbled the last part, not sure himself but wanting to keep his explanation simple.
"Why don't people just tell the person they like them?"  Jack asked turning towards Mark. Mark smiled and cupped Jack's cheeks, he was too cute.
"I guess it's fear of being rejected, or they want to keep things slow" Jack frowned.
"I say the quicker the better, so what if you get rejected at least you know right?"
"I guess you're right, wouldn't you be worried about making this awkward though?" Mark said thoughtfully, stroking his cheeks with his thumbs.
"True but if they don't like you back and then you talk about it, it'll make you feel better and the person might understand"
Jack smiled. Mark sighed softly, "Yes, you're right..." he couldn't help but grin like an idiot.
"That's definitely true kitten" Jack chuckled softly. Mark stroked his cheeks, "So pure and cute"
Jack blushed. He wanted to kiss him so badly, but doing any advances on Jack in that state would be just an asshole thing to do. He figured it would be better to keep his distance.
"Well... We should start ordering clothes" he said a little awkwardly, letting go of Jack completely. Jack whined slightly at the sudden lose of warmth.
"Ok" Jack smiled. Mark walked out of the bathroom and into his office, where he usually kept his laptop.
