One Tree Hill 13 Years Later

Chapter 3

Peyton Scott POV:

I had just got off the phone with my friend Haley and we were talking about what to do to day. We agreed to have a picnic get together with all of our friends and there kids. I was in charge of getting the foods that they were gonna have at the picnic. I needed to go to the store to get some of the items that Haley told me to buy. "Sawyer I need you to watch your brother and sister I told her. She just nodded,so I grabbed my keys, wallet, purse and walked out the door. I made it to the store and walked down the bread aisle to get six bags of hot dog and hamburger buns. When I grabbed them I saw my high school boyfriend Jake. I walked up to him. "Hi Jake" I said to him. "Hey Peton" he replied back. We kept talking for another 10 minutes in till I realized that I had to go. Before I left I invited him to the picnic and he said that he will be there so that made me happy. I went and got the rest of the food, checked out and headed home. When I got home I just left the food in the car. When I got inside the house Sawyer was getting Ellie and Keith ready to go. I put Ellie in her carseat then moved her to the car. Then Keith and Sawyer got in. Lucas is meeting us there so I drove to the River Court. When I got there we were the first one's to get there. So I unloaded all the food we got, while Sawyer got Ellie out. I was putting the last bag on the table and Haley pulled up with her kids holding a soccer ball in her hand. All of them got out the car and ran around while we went to sit down and wait for Lucas and Nathan to get here with Clay. As we were talking about work Brooke and who I guess was Jake pulled up. Brooke and her kids got out with Julian. After they were over with everybody else I saw Jake get out the car with 3 girls."Hey Jake who are these beautiful ladies"? I asked him. " This is my daughter Jenny,Alexis,and Jenny's Daughter Abbigal." he said. " Well here are my kids. Sawyer,Keith,Ellie." I replied back. When we were done talking Lucas,Nathan,Clay,Jamie,and Brandon got out the car. I then handed them the food that they needed to cook while I talked to Jake and everybody else.

Jenny Jagielski Pov:

I was sitting at the picnic table when I saw a twelve year old girl that looks like my ex walk by me. "Hello Peyton is it? who is that girl right there"? I pointed at the little girl. "Oh that's Brooke and Julians daughter that they adopted when she was 2 weeks old." she replied. I just kept staring at her. I picked up Abby and fixed her beautiful pigtails. When I was done I sat there and tried to talk to my little sister who was texting again. I snatched her phone from her and saw she was messaging someone named B-Boy. I gave her back her phone and just smiled at her.
