It was dark and the moon shone
The stars shimmered
And the earth was numb
The soft beneath me cradled my hopes
With my head on a pillow
My mind resting at a slope
It's free to go wild
Careless free like a young child
I let myself become one with the world
As momentarily stillness takes over my body.
My worries my fears my anxiety and stress
My conscience my tears my voice my depressed
I can dream
I can't see yet i can vision
I can't hear but I can think
I can't think but I do
I'm tired out but my brain? No
Will I sleep, maybe if it will let me
This beautiful planet may engulf me
But for tonight I just want to lay
