Loki's pov from the year 2016

"So, seer? What do the nine realms show you?" Heimdal turned to me, "My Prince, I don't know how to describe it." I didn't quiet understand so I tried to get him to explain it. "Loki, there are parts of my gifts that allow me to see both past and present earth..." he turned to me, "and times where a bit of the future seeps in. A message has come for you."
"A message?" I asked. He nodded, "from your future self. Loki, a Midgardian will be killed tonight by a man with a metal arm. Go. The Midgard Guardian cannot protect this man alone." I nodded then heimdal opened the portal and dropped me right into Stark tower. I was ready to be treated as a hostile. Instead I was treated as a friend. A woman walked over to me as tony said, "he's dangerous." She turned to him, "he's also my brother. Loki," she turned to me, "Loki why are you here? How are you here?" I was shocked. Her brother? "I'm here because heimdal received a message from a future version of myself saying that someone I care about would come here." Tony said, "what do you mean he's your brother?" I watched her smile, "I'm asgardian, at least my parents are. I was born here on Midgard and tasked to protect the realm from all its inhabitants," she brought me closer to Stark, "I'm here for more that one reason tony. A man, the man he cares about is going to try and kill you. He also knows where Steve is. Loki, I'm happy he's here. He's going to try and get through to him while I protect you." Tony got angry, "what can he do?" She smiled, "everything."

Jamie's pov

The man with the metal arm appeared. I used the ant man technology and shrunk tony. I ran to him and shrunk myself to use my abilities and hide us.
We ran to a safe location and watched Loki.

Loki's pov

"Get out of my way. He needs to die!" Yelled Bucky as Loki used his tricks to keep him in place. I yelled out, "listen to me!" He turned to me, "that man ruined my life. He killed a person who mattered most to me. He killed my brother!" I moved in front of him, "do you know who I am?" Bucky he searched his mind for and answer. When he stopped he just stopped and looked at me, "you're dead." I changed myself into the clothes he met me in, "not dead. Just a victim of time." He looked down, "how?" I closed my eyes for a moment then walked over to him, "I love you Buck. That never stopped." He dropped to his knees and then I to mine. He said, "I saw you all those years ago. I knew then... I... when I started to remember who I was. It wasn't Steve. It was you I thought of first. I searched for answers but no luck. I," he caught me off guard when he pulled me in and kissed me. He pulled away quick and scooted a few feet away from me, "I'm sorry. What you must think of me...the man you must see..." I scooted closer to him and took his hand, "the man I see is the same one who rescued me at the Stark expo and is the same man I fell in love with and that I still love. You. Let me take you to my home. Let me take care of you now while I still can. I failed you before." Bucky looked up to me, "no. It's I who felled you. I promised you I'd come home..." I cut him off, "you just did." Bucky and I stood up and that's when Jamie and Tony grew back to normal size.

Jamie's Pov

"You know James," I smiled because I never thought I would learn his name, "winter, Steve is still out there and I can tell you where. Loki, he can take you. Winter..." he cut me off. "Do you love him?" I looked to tony as he took my hand, "I do." Winter continued, "don't let him go," and like that they were gone.
Tony pulled me in and held me close, "don't let go. Promise me you won't ever let go." I smiled into his chest, "I promise to stay here, with you, forever." He picked me up and carried me bridal style to his room.

Loki's pov

I took bucky's hand when we arrived at the bifrost in Asgard. He was amazed at what had just happened. "Loki?" He said a little scared. I squeezed his hand, "you're going to be fine Buck, I'm right here. Now follow me." Heimdal smiled down to us as we passed and headed out to the rainbow bridge where I was greeted by my oaf of a brother. "Loki!" Thor said happily. I smiled, "Thor." Thor turned to Bucky, "you must be Bucky," I was shocked to see what Thor did next. Thor smiled then placed out his hand, "on earth you shake hands, do you not?" Bucky nodded then Thor continued, "then let me shake the man's hand who stole my brothers heart. Go. Rest, relax, because tomorrow we celebrate." Bucky shook third hand and smiled before I pulled him away and led him to my chambers.
