(We are in the year 1798, after christ)

Samuel's POV

I opened my eyes.

Diana and I had leased rooms in the second floor of a bar.

It wasn't anything fancy, but that didn't matter.

We weren't going to stay for long anyways.

The room was small, with just a bed, a window and a bench in it.

"Are you awake yet?"

I heard a familiar voice say, and I turned around.

Diana was sitting on the bench, leaning her back against the wall.

Her hair was as red as usual, shining beautifully in rays of sunshine, that had escaped through the open window.

"Yes, now I am."

I said with a smile, and Diana stood up.

She was wearing a normal brown dress, and she had a black scarf wrapped around her shoulders.

She walked slowly towards me, while taking an old map out of her pocket.

"He's there."

Diana said, and pointed at a street on the map.

"Are you coming along this time?"

I asked her, and she nodded.

"This one is dangerous. We have to be extremely careful."

She said, giving me a serious look.

"Why is that? Which war is he anyways?"

I asked her, and she sighed.

"The american revolutionairy war."

I sat up in the bed, and looked at her with a scared look.

I knew that if he wouldn't cooperate, this could be extremely dangerous.

The bigger and more significant war you, as a war-child were born in, the more power you possess.

But there is also a possibility of insanity, caused by the fact that every war-child has the memory of every person who took part in that war in any way.

"When are we leaving?"

I asked her, and she started walking towards the door.

"As soon as you get dressed, Samuel."

I nodded, and heard the brown, wooden door getting shut.

The sound of her black shoes walking down the staircase faded away, and I laid down on the bed.

10 minutes later, I walked down the stairs.

Diana was standing in the middle of the bar, looking at me.
