Why did you do that?

Hello people DANZ here! What the fuck was that? Well the story is almost finished. But I have a really good ending so it is not that bad that the story is almost done.

Dan's POV

Cat asked me if she could come over for dinner. I said yes. 

"Hey Phil. Cat is coming over for dinner. Is that okay?" I asked. "Yeah it's okay." He said. "I'll go get ready." He said.

I also got ready. When I came to the lounge, he already set up the table. Three places. I'm glad he wants to eat, he hasn't been eating very well.

He walked over to the kitchen and made some pasta.

About an hour later the we heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and saw Cat. She was dressed up really overdone. A sparkly black top, a black tight mini skirt, and a full face of makeup. Gross. I hate it when people get too overdone to impress.

I invited her to come in and sit down. Phil walked in the lounge and made a disgusted face. I tried to hold in my laughter.

"Hey Cat!" He said with obvious fake enthusiasm. "Oh hi Phil." She said.

Time skip. Cause I can

After dinner we decided to see a movie. "Oh I think I left the disc in my room. Be right back." Phil said. I stood up and went with him. "Want me to help look?" I asked. "Nah it's fine." He said.

"Come on Danny sit with me." Cat commanded. "I'll wait for Phil." I said. "No! Just you and me." She said standing up. She walked over to my direction. And it completely caught me off guard.

She kissed me, on the lips.

I pushed her away, but after that I could see a broken Phil, standing in front of us. "No Phil it's not what it looks like." I said. He walked away into the front door, and left the building.

Phil's POV

I knew it. He loves her. He doesn't love me!! It's a Friday night and there are probably lots of drunk drivers in this street.

I wasn't looking where I was going. And suddenly I felt something. I got hit by a truck. After what I felt like seconds I saw Dan holding me. I didn't see myself, I just saw Dan's face. I hope that means I'm still alive.

Dan's POV

I chased Phil out of the apartment. When I saw him, he got hit by a truck. "NO PHIL!" I cried. The light just turned red so I had my opportunity to get over there. I picked him up in my arms. "Phil, don't die. PHIL!" I cried. At this point I was sobbing.

I quickly took out my phone and called 999

"Hello what's your emergency?"

"My best friend got hit by a truck!"

I told them where we were. About five minutes later, the ambulance arrived. They took Phil to the hospital, I went back to the apartment to get a coat since it was a bit chilly.

"Danny! Come on let's cuddle." Cat said. "No we are going to the hospital." I said. I took her wrist and dragged her along.

When I got at the hospital. I couldn't stop thinking about Phil. Cat kept on talking about how the night would've gone or something like that. I wasn't paying attention to her.

"Daniel J Howell?" The doctor asked. I stood up and faced him. "Your friend Phil will survive." He said. I got a relief. "But he is in a coma. But don't worry. There is only a 5% chance he won't wake up. It will be most likely for him to wake up really fast. In fact he might be waking up now." He said. "Thanks doctor. Can I go see him now?" I asked he nodded and gave me his room number.

I dashed up to his room. Cat slowly following me. As soon as I saw him, it brought tears to my eyes. I went by his side and took his hand. "Phil." I whimpered. I heard the door open. Cat.

Third person POV

Phil pretended to sleep as soon as Dan entered the hospital room. He felt Dan taking his hand, and call his name with a whimper. Cat entered the room. "There you are! Come on, now with him out of the way we can finish our date." Cat said. "With him out of the way? Are you serious?!" Dan asked standing up and facing her. "Yeah, I mean he was getting in the way of our relationship." She explained.

"No! I won't go with you! Why? Because you made my friend, no in fact, my best friend feel uncomfortable. You wanted to exclude him. You caused him to be in a coma!" Dan shouted with visible anger. "Danny come on!" Cat complained. "Do not call me Danny! I only allow Phil to call me that. And you know why I am certainly not going to go with you? Because I don't even like you! There I said it I don't love you! I don't love you because I am already in love with another person!" Dan shouted once more. "With who?!" Cat asked. "With the man lying right next to me! There you go! I, Daniel James Howell, am in love with my best friend Philip Michael Lester!" Dan shouted.

Phil quickly opened his eyes and said something before Dan could start shouting again.

"And I, Philip Michael Lester, am in love with my best friend Daniel James Howell." He said. Dan quickly turned towards Phil as soon as he heard his voice, and hugged him as hard as he could.

"Oh my god Phil! I love you and I'm so sorry." Dan sobbed in his shoulder.

"I love you too Dan. Or should I call you bear?" Phil asked.

"Yeah bear is fine. I love you." Dan said still sobbing.

"Dan?"

"Yes?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?" Phil asked. Dan started to cry even more. "Yes! Oh my god, yes!" He said. Dan cupped Phil's face and brought it up to his lips. They shared a tender kiss.

"No! You're suppose to kiss me! Not him!" Cat shouted. "Too bad. I am already taken." Dan said smiling at Phil. (A/N: I typed Phil and it autocorrected me to pupil. Just sayin). "Go away Cat. We are having our moment." Phil said. Cat stormed out of the hospital.

Dan sat down in the edge of the bed holding Phil's hand.

"Phil can you tell me now why were you sad?" Dan asked. "Because I was going to tell you that I love you, but Cat came and I was sad that she was stealing you."

"Aw come here lion." Dan said pulling Phil up so they can hug. He placed Phil back on the bed and kissed his cheek.

The doctor came in and explained them what they have to do.

"Okay, so Phil is awake. That is good. You will have to stay at home for one to two weeks. Preferably two. You will have to take this medicines *hands the paper to Dan.* You can stand up, but it will be likely that you faint, so it is recommended that your friend helps you take a bath or go to the bathroom." The doctor explained.

After the doctor left, Dan started tickling Phil and kissing him on the cheeks. "You'll *kiss* be *kiss* stuck with me *kiss* for two weeks. *kiss on the lips*" Dan said. "Lets go home bear." Phil said.

When they got home they cuddled watching an anime. Phil has his face lying in Dan's chest. And Dan had his arms around Phil's waist.

"Hey bear?"

"Yes lion?" "How long have you been loving me?" Phil asked. "Since I saw your face pop up in a black and white video." Dan said kissing Phil on the lips.
