Twenty Six.

*Xiumin's POV*

     Like always I'm the first person to be awake. It seems no matter how hard I try to sleep in it never happens. I made my way to kitchen and began to prepare my coffee like every other morning. As I waited for my coffee to be ready I began to think about the busy day we have ahead.

     This morning we have a meeting about our up coming schedule. Then we have practice after until who knows when. An interview with a radio show, and then tonight we are going to be on a talk show. Today is going to be a really long day. The only thing keeping me going right now is my coffee and the fact I get to see (Y/N) tonight.

    I know I saw her yesterday but it feels like ages. Maybe I should call her and see how she is. She didn't eat yesterday with us, hm I wonder why though? I pondered the thought as I slowly sipped on my coffee. I took a seat at the table and looked out the window. I was lost in thought when Chen entered the kitchen.

     "Yah Xiumin why don't you ever sleep in?" He patted my shoulder and took a seat across from me, getting ready to eat some cereal, his eyes barely open and his hair a complete mess

    "I don't know, I'm never able to" I explained chuckling drinking more of my coffee

     "Are you ready for today?" I nodded as (Y/N) flashed through my mind "I know why you are ready" He laughed pointing an accusing finger towards me, I raised and eyebrow at him 

    "What do you mean?" I asked looked at my coffee

    "You just want to see (Y/N)" He sang, the blush instantly raised to my cheeks and I avoided looking at him "I knew it, you can't hide anything from me Xiumin" he laughed teasing me

     "I'm going to go get ready for today" I got up quickly as he continued to laugh, heading to my room without looking back

     I laughed nervously, why am I getting so flustered. I announced my feelings to everyone yesterday, why am I reacting like they didn't know. I shook the feeling off and got ready for the day. Now I know I'm going to be teased all day, but it's not like I'm the only one that likes her. I know some of the other guys have a small crush on her.

    How can they not? She's just so..so perfect

    Once I was ready to go I took a seat on my bed and stared at my phone that was in my hand. I stared the black screen for the longest time. Should I call her? No, maybe I should just text her. What if she doesn't answer? I finally got the nerve and unlocked my phone going to her contact profile. Call or text? I want to hear her voice so I call her instead. I clicked the icon and held the phone to my ear, as it began to ring I held my breath

     "Hello?" (Y/N) answered the phone, and my heart began to beat faster

     "Hi-Hello (Y/N), good morning" I put my hand on my neck nervously looking around my room "How are you this morning" I asked

    "Hi-Hi Xiumin, I'm good thank you for asking how are you?" I smiled hearing her voice come through the phone

    "I'm amazing now that I've heard your voice" nailed it, I'm pretty good at this. I smiled at my own smooth line, I'm horrible at this who am I kidding

    "Oh uh-so um what's up?" She asked nervously

     "Well I was worried since you didn't eat with us last night, I wanted to know if you were alright" I explained the concern dripping off my words

     "I'm okay. Thank you for worrying but I was tired is all" She explained, I nodded even though she can't see me

     "Well I'm glad your okay" I grinned

    "Yah! Xiumin it's time to go!" Suho knocked on my door, I frowned I want to keep talking to her on the phone 

     "I have to go but I'll see you tonight okay?" I asked

     "Ye-yeah tonight, see you then Xiu" I began to smile like an idiot, she gave me a nickname. She's so cute "Xiumin, I'm sorry I didn't mean to call you Xiu" I laughed lightly

    "No, No (Y/N) you can call me whatever you'd like. I'd love to have a nickname from you" I explained happily

   "Oh okay, I'll think of one then" She laughed and my heart raced more than ever, I love making her laugh. Her laugh makes me so happy "Bye Xiumin"

    "Bye (Y/N), I'll see you soon" I heard her hum back in response then hang up

     I locked my phone and headed towards the front door where everyone else was. I kept smiling as I walked to put my shoes on. I could still hear her cute laugh ringing though my ears.

    Once we were in the van, everyone seemed tired. I on the other after talking to (Y/N), I was ready for anything. It's like just hearing her voice gives me the strength to do everything today. I looked towards my left and frowned a bit. D.O was sitting beside and hadn't said a word to me.

    I hope he still isn't mad at me. I looked towards hoping he would look at me, but he was looking at his phone intently. I looked at his screen and noticed he was texting someone, before he locked his phone I saw (Y/N)'s name on the top of the screen. He seemed happier then usual.

    My heart instantly sunk. He's texting her. He looked towards me and smiled. I gave him a warm smile back. I don't want to start anything between us. He looked away and I did the same turning my attention to window. Out of the corner of my eye I saw him smile and begin to type on his phone once again.

    I like (Y/N), but D.O is one of my best friends. It's weird to think I'm happy for him. He is texting the girl he likes, he is stepping out of his comfort zone and as his friend I'm happy. As the person competing against him for (Y/N)'s heart I'm angry and jealous. I don't know how to feel right now and it's confusing.

    I hope this doesn't get more complicated, I hate being confused about things. I sighed and continued to look at all the buildings that passed by us. Tonight better come fast.
