My eyes slowly blinked open. In front of me, Marcus lay asleep, looking gorgeous as normal. It was a lot easier staying at Marcus' house overnight seen as he lived alone. We could do what we wanted without being overheard or watched. Kissing him on the forehead, I got up to make us both breakfast; I thought it would be a kind gesture, an impressive one too.

Marcus stretched as he came down the stairs, wearing nothing but his underwear. He looked so cute! He raised his eyebrows when he noticed I was serving up two portions of a full English breakfast.

"Mmm... sausages, my favourite!" he exclaimed. We both laughed for a while before sitting at the table to tuck in.

"Enjoy," I said.

"Really, babe, you seriously didn't have to do this," Marcus replied.

"It was a pleasure, don't worry 'bout it." I insisted.

Once we'd finished, Marcus suggested we went on a walk.

"There's a woods not far from here. It takes about half an hour to walk around - looks really nice this time of year, actually!" he explained. I was up for it and agreed; we left shortly after.

During our walk, Marcus held my hand and every so often, he kissed it. I never really understood how love could make you feel inside. Was this love? I didn't know. All I knew was that Marcus made me feel as though with him, I was on top of the world. I'd never really told anyone about my anxiety and low self-esteem. In my videos, vlogs especially, I try to include as many positive quotes and mottos that I can. Turns out maybe I need them more than my viewers. In my opinion, anxiety is different for different people. For me, I put myself down, lose motivation to do things and don't believe in myself. The thing is when I spend time with Marcus, it all goes away. It disappears.

About half way through our morning stroll, Marcus stopped.

"Lemme show you something, Alfie," he said, leading me to a spot at the edge of the woods.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You'll see," he smiled. In a few minutes, we were stood near a riverbank, staring at the amazing view.

"Sometimes, I sit here and look at the view. I think some people take this world for granted. Just look at everything: the people, the rivers, the trees and also, the beautiful, blue sky. So many noticeable gems yet no one ever appreciates them." Marcus explained. I thought about what he said. How the world's features were "gems" in his eyes. To me, he was a gem and I never wanted to lose him. I'd appreciate him for as long as I could.

"It's beautiful, Marcus." I gasped. He turned around, beaming, and pinned me against the nearest tree. Kissing me, he ran his fingers through my hair, just like he had done the night before.

"Not as beautiful as you," Marcus whispered, softly. Immediately, a thousand fireworks exploded in my heart; I couldn't believe it. No one had ever made me feel like this, ever.

Maybe, this was love.
