It was a day like any other day. Marinette got home the night before, worked a little on her homework and then fell asleep. When she woke up it was 7 a.m. This is the first time she had woken up in time for school in a while, so this led to her kwami asking some questions.
"Good Morning Marinette!" Tikki said, very energeticly.
"Good Morning" Marinette yawned, as she turned of her alarm.
"You're up on time! What's the occasion?" Tikki asked sarcastically.
"Nothing, I just want to finally get to school on time, I've been late nearly every day this week!" Marinette said, with a hint of anger.
"Don't blame yourself, it's hard to have so many responsibilities, it's often difficult for people to get used to it." Tikki said in attempt to cheer Marinette up.
Marinette made it to school twenty minutes early and began to talk to her best friend, Alya.
"Hey girl!" Alya said, jogging over to Marinette.
"Hi Alya!" Marinette said, happy to see her friend again.
"Have you checked out the ladyblog recently? I just got this amazing pic of ladybug!" She said, taking her phone out.
Alya's phone displayed a picture of ladybug zooming through the air, her yo-yo tethered to the top of 'The Grand Paris', Chloe's fathers home. The lighting was perfect due to the "golden hour" of when the sun sets. Marinette smiled, she knew that her friend hadn't the littlest idea she was ladybug.
"That's an amazing picture, how'd you get it?"Marinette said, trying to pretend as if she didn't already know.
"I guess I was just at the right place at the right time." Alya said humbly.
The bell rang, and students headed to their classes. Alya and Marinette sat down.
