Lady Miss Fortune

Chapter 4

Chat Noir ran as fast as he could to the TV studio. There she was, zipping to the next building over. Chat Noir ran up.

"Well there you are kitty." Miss Fortune said.

"Why are you doing this M'lady?" Chat said, confused as to how she could possibly get akumatized.

"I am no longer 'your lady' in fact, I never was." She said, getting into stance.

"Very well then." Chat said, ready to stop her, before she hurt herself.

Miss Fortune gave the first attack, and chat blocked it with his iron baton, which he then extended attempting to hit Miss Fortune. Miss Fortune leaped inside the TV studio, and Chat followed. When Chat entered the door, nobody was there, except for the security guards knocked out on the floor. 

Laughing echoed around the room. 

"I guess you can't get enough kitty" Miss Fortune said on the upper level, grinning. 

"I've asked once, and I'll ask again, why are you doing this?" Chat said, a little more confidence in his voice this time.

"The question isn't why I'M doing this it's why people do this to me."

"What did they do to you, who are they?" Chat Noir said in an attempt to get her distracted so he could think of a plan.

"Are you trying to get me to monologue? Oh my, you are! How cute!" Miss Fortune said. 

Chat went upstairs, and began to attack. He lengthened his baton and attempted to hit ladybug. She dodged it, and attempted to hit him with her yo-yo. Chat caught it and pulled her closer, while tripping her with his Baton. Chat was not smarter than Ladybug normally, so why would he be better at fighting today? The answer was simple. Marinette was trapped inside Miss Fortune, and was trying to fight her way out. She was clearly fine with embarrassing Chloe, but harming her partner? That was something she couldn't do. 

How do I release the akuma? It's clearly in her earrings, but if I break those, I break her miraculous. But, the the akuma will be released, and if Ladybug is able to catch it when she's released, maybe she can also use her powers to restore everything which will cure her earrings! But wait, if her miraculous is broken, how can she use her powers. Maybe that's it, maybe I just have to remove her earrings!

It was a risk, but Chat was willing to take that risk. He took off her earrings, and the akuma began to fly away. Chat completely forgot what his plan was to catch it. He acted off of his instincts.

"Cataclysm!" Chat shouted.

He finally hit the akuma, which turned white and flew away. He turned around, to find none other than Marinette lying on the floor.
