I can speak Chinese.
我可以说华语。

But, I am not fluent in it.
可是，我的华语不是很流畅。

I also don't know if my previous sentence was wrong.
我也不知道如果我前一句是错。

Do you just get so envious when there's another person, same age as you, that can speak it better?
你有没有感到很媢当有别人，同年龄，比你说华语多好？

I guess when I was young.
我猜当我是小时候。

I grew up in a household that commonly spoke English. Apparently my Dad doesn't know of the time where people usually take in a lot of information. So he didn't teach me, and where was my mother?

My sister was in the same predicament, and now she struggles to speak Chinese and it doesn't help that she's Asian. She's already past the period of where people can take in a lot of information but I still have a chance. However, every time I try to set up a rule where people should speak Chinese they automatically revert back to English.

Gah.
