My mate sat next to me. Well, the teacher made us. I'm so pissed at the teacher. He hates me anyways. I was tired and panicked as I sat in class.
I could hear the voices around me. It felt like the world was spinning.
Calm down. A small voice says, in the back of my mind I screamed. Everyone looked towards me.
"Sorry I thought I saw a mouse." I lied. It's just me I'm your wolf. What a nice time to come talk to me. I got up and went to the restroom.
Porter's point of view
I stood in front of the school. It's so small. I sighed and walked in through the front doors.
I mean it is mating season but come on. Seriously. I could smell her, she smelled like the woods and soap. I saw a redhead running down the stairs. No it can't be her.
I pretended that nothing happened and everything was fine by smiling at the office lady who was sitting in the lobby. She gave me my schedule.
I looked at the small collection of books that were held in the lobby. One in particular caught my eye. The maze runner. It seems cool. I looked around the small area. They must have some way to check this out. I found a wire basket on the shelf of the library. It had some books and slips in them. I read it and filled it out with a pen that I had shoved into my pocket before I left the house.
Eventually the bell rang and I went to class. The teacher made us sit in our seats. I was sitting by my mate. The redhead.
I knew her before the wolf issues came up. She was just a couple inches shorter than me. She was chubby but it's not that noticeable and I liked it. She wasn't just some model that made people love her looks. No, she makes people go deeper than that.
I looked over and I saw that she was panicking. Then she screamed, while short it was full of horror. A second later she got up and went to the bathroom.
I stopped and listened. I could hear the thoughts around me. Hers stood out most. Analeese please don't he's just going to reject us.
