Home for Christmas

Finally the day

Emma woke up early on December 25th she practically got jumped on by Henry. Killian groaned waking up.

"You'd think a pirate would wake up earlier." Emma said.

"Well love I had quite the tiering night." He said, Emma giggled and hit his arm while Henry made a face.

"Hurry up! Grandma and Grandpa are coming in an hour. Regina is coming in an hour too with Robin, Roland, Zelena, and everyone else." Henry exclaimed.

They all got out of bed as Killian went in the shower while Emma got dressed. She put on a black and white dress and an apron on top.

She went down stairs and took the turkey out the fridge. After getting all the other stuff out she put the turkey on the oven and began getting everything else ready.

Killian came up un-noticed behind her, he snaked her arms around her waist and made her jump. He kissed the back of her neck ad she giggled.

"Killian I'm trying to cut the carrots." She said holding up the knife. He let go and she turned around.

"Remember the last time you were around me with a knife love." He joked but she grew a frown.

"Don't joke about that." She said, putting the knife down.

"I'm sorry love." He said and enveloped her. She hugged him back and began to cry into his chest.

The door opened and in came David and Snow. "Emma are you ok?" David asked when he saw her.

Killian transferred her to her father and helped Snow with the presents. David continued to hug Emma as she continued to cry.

Everyone else came through the door and Henry came down the stairs. They all stopped when they saw Emma. Henry took Roland into the living room and everyone followed.

Regina stayed behind with the desserts and to talk to Emma. "What happened?" She asked.

Emma shook her head. "I'm just happy that I finally home for Christmas." Regina shook her head.

"No what is it?"

"I was cutting something and Killian made a joke about the knife and the last three months just came rushing back." Emma explained. Regina nodded.

"I understand. Every so often I think about Robin." She said. The two women stood in silence for a moment before Killian came in.

"You ok love?" He asked. She nodded and went back to cooking.

A little while later everyone was in the living room and there a was a big sack full of presents.

Only a few people knew who each other had because of asking for help but for the most part no one knew.

Emma went down on her knees in front of the sack and pulled out a present. "To Violet, from Belle." Violet smiled and Emma handed her the present.

After a while all the presents were open and everyone was around the table. Robin and Regina had exchanged gifts but Emma and Killian hadn't.

Everyone had eaten the starter and main course. They were back in the living room area and drinking champagne.

"Ok, Emma I have a present for you." Killian said. He stood up but got stopped by Emma.

"I want to give you yours first." She smiled. He squinted at her as she pulled out a box wrapped in blue wrapping paper with a bow on it.

He took it and opened it and his face lit up. "You think you're..." She shook her head.

"Open the box." He opened it and saw the two pink lines. He smiled like an idiot and squeezed her but let go quickly.

"Can I give you your present now?" She nodded and he pulled a small red velvet box. Her face changed to a huge smile as he opened to box to revel a silver ring with a swan on it.
"Emma Swan I love you more than words can say. As I bought you this ring to symbolise it. I want to marry you. So will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?" She nodded and he slipped the ring on her finger.

Everyone clapped and congratulated the two for the rest of the night. They had dessert and laughed about How Regina had used pears because she want allowed apples.

They all had an amazing time as one big family and no one fought. Since everyone was drunk they all stayed at Emma's house.

Henry, Roland and Violet in his room. Regina and Robin in the guest bed. with Zelena on the floor. Snow and David in Emma and Killian's bed. Emma and Killian on the couch. Gold and Belle on a mattress in the living room. And the babies in cots made by Emma and Zelena with magic.

For now, things were perfect.

They slept off the hangovers and the next morning everyone went home to live happily ever after.
