"How about we go to the dining room and eat dinner?" Renee said
"okay" Me and Neil said at the same time then we looked at each other and started laughing.
Once we all sat down Renee whispered something to Neil and it made me curious. I didn't have to wait for long before they filled me in on what she was saying. After she said it I fainted....
(NOW)
I woke up and didnt realize were I was until I sat up, looked around and found that I was in my new room on my king sized comfy bed. While I sat up I remembered what had happened.
(FLASHBACK)
I didn't have to wait for long before they filled me in on what she was saying.
"The main reason we adopted you is because... we made a deal that our daughter, that we never had, would marry there son, but like I said we never had a daughter sooo we adopted you and I'm sorry we're doing this to you but, there coming over tommorow night for dinner and for you guys to meat."
Then everything went black.
(END OF FLASHBACK)
I can't believe there doing this to me! Why would they just adopt me so I could get an aranged marriage to some stranger I don't even know! I thought to myself the looked at the clock and saw that it was two in the morning and decided that I should get some sleep before the long day I was surely going to have tomorrow.
The next morning when I woke up it was around one in the afternoon.
"Oh great only for more hours before I meet my future husband and his parents yay!" I whispered to myself sarcasticly. I guess I'll get up and get ready... I went into my HUGE walk-in closet and found a mid-thigh strapless black dress to wear then I went into the bathroom. I put my hair into a loose bun with my long wavy light brown hair after, I lightly put on eyeliner and liquid liner on the top of my eyes and then put on mascara. That was all I need for make-up and that brings out my green eyes. To top it all of I put on a cleer lip gloss on my full lips.
Once I was done I headed downstairs to see Renee and Neil. When I got downstairs Renee and Neil were sitting in the living room talking and they were also dressed up, Neil was in dress pants with a white button up shirt and Renee was in a red knee-length dress with her hair straight and laying on her shoulders.
"Wow, you look beautiful Mia!"
"Thanks you, and so do you."
"Thanks hun"
"No problem. Soo when are they going to be here?"
"Brandon and his parents should be here anytime now!"
"Great" I mumbled
"huh?"
"Nothing" I said
Right as Neil was grabbing for the remote there was a knock in the door.
"I'll get it." I said
As I was heading to the door I tripped over my own feet.
"Damn it!! I knew I shouldnt have worn these god damned Stiletos" I yelled to myself
Then I heard people chuckling and I looked up and saw Renee, Neil, and who I'm guessing is Brandon and his parents all looking at me laughing.
"What the hell is so funny?!?!" I asked that while getting up
"Nothing" The said in unison
"Whatever" I was Beyond pissed at the moment
I got up and went to he bathroom to see what the damage was. It turned out there was just a red mark on my forehead and that wasn't that bad so I headed back out to the Family room to were I heard everyone talking about what, I dont know.
I walked into the room and no one noticed me so I took a seat in the chair in the corner of the room. While I was sitting there I decided to get a good look at Brandon, he was so handsom, he had brown lslightly long hair strikingly awesome brown eyes that look like chocolate and you could get lost in them so easily(I was just sitting there), he had big full pink lips that looked really kissable...Mia stop thinking that you dnt even know him, anyway he looks like he's about 6'1/ 6'2, with an athletic build. After about 5 minutes about them talking about going to go see if if i was okay and me checking out Brandon, He looked over at me and then everyone noticed me sitting there.
"Hey Mia, how long have you been sitting there?" Renee asked me
"About five minutes"
"Wow we're unobservant!"
"I'd say"
"So Mia this is Brandon your fiance and his parents, Kristen and John."
"Nice to meet you!" I gave his parents a hug
"You too, sweety" they said
''What about me don't I get a hug??" Brandon asked with the sweetest puppydog face EVER
"Ummm sure?" It was more of a question than an answer
I went over to him and gave him a hug. I felt so comfortable in his arms and my head fit perfectly into his shoulder, like it was supposed to be like that. After I realized I'd been hugging him for awhile I took a step back but he took a step forward and didn't let go.
Oh well, I'm content were I am no need to move.. I thought to myself.
(Brandon's POV)
I can't believe my parents are making me get married to a girl I've never met in my life! It's not fair to me and I'm sure she feels the same way. Maybe we'll get along once we meet finally meet at dinner. I hope we do. I don't want to marry someone that hates me and I'm going to try to get along with her the best I can. I guess it's time to get ready for tonight! I thought to myself.
Once we got to her house I followed my parents to the door and waited for them to knock. Once they did we waited for about a minute and then we heard the clck-clack of heels than a CRASH! I ran past my parents, opened the door and saw a really pretty girl on the floor in a really awkward position and I started chuckling and then who I'm guessing are her parents and my parents started laughing to. Once she got up she glared at all of us and went into the other room.
We all went into the the family room and sat down and started talking about Mia and ow we all hope she's okay. After about 5 minutes of us talking about her I just happened to look over and notice her sitting in the chair in the corner looking at me. She was so pretty! She had her light brown hair in a loose bun on the top of her head, she had pink lips that were perfectly formed, she had the most striking greeen eyes that you could get lost in, she had a heart-shaped face and looked like she was about 5'5/ 5'6 with an athletic body. she was so beautiful! Then Renee and Neil noticed her and introduced us all. Then she gave my parents a hug and I wanted to give her a hug too!
"Hey what about me!?! I want a hug!" I asked with my best puppy-dog face and it looked like it was working
"Umm sure?" she asked more as a question
She came over, gave me a hug and it was like we fit together perfectly when she leaned her head on my shoulder. As she was stepping away I stepped with her not wanting the moment to end so soon. I was very content!
(Parents POV)
"We'll just go into the other room and talk" said Renee
They all agread and they went into the other room
"There soo cute together this was such a good idea!" Kristen said. They all nodded along
