Supernatural School

~ Chapter 5 ~

"Ummm, what's happening?" Twi asked as she tried to not bump into us.
"I don't know, where's the moonlight?" I replied.
"It's not supposed to get pitch black until the end of school!" Clawdia said.
"But we only just had lunch" I mentioned.
We heard students rushing out, trying to figure out what was going on. We overheard some people talking about a powercut, so we went to have a look.

"Why would the school have a powercut, just as everything goes pitch black outside?" Twi said as we wandered the dark corridors of the school.
"You vampires are so lucky with your powers and shit" said Clawdia
"Oh my god i forgot! Clawdia can't see anything!" I laughed.
"Here." Twi handed Clawdia a flashlight.
"Seriously, you forgot me?" She giggled. As we walked, we stumbled across teachers trying to clean up the mess from the horde of monsters trying to get out.
"Imagine how much fun shadow monsters are having right now." Twi said, rolling her eyes.
"We had better watch for that Sophie girl, I heard she's a shadow monster, and she's horrible to people for no reason." Clawdia said.
"Yeah, we know, she shoved me from inside a wall earlier." I muttered.
"So the rumours are true?" Clawdia asked.
"The rumours dont do her justice" Twi said quietly.
"True" I said.
We walked in silence until Clawdia tripped and fell on something.
"OW, What the hell was that?!" She cried.
"Let me see." I said and crouched down next to her. Clawdia scrambled to her feet and pointed the flashlight tp where she fell.
"What...is this?" I asked quietly, talking to myself. I dusted off some dirt and found a trapdoor.
