Alexia's Pov

We're back on the road and we have the roof down just driving. It feels so good out here. Especially when my hair is just natural and we're just going down the highway. Then the sun is coming up. It's so pretty. We've been driving for a little while. I don't know where we are, but he knows his way around here so I'm just going with it. It feels really nice out here.

Me: I feel so alive.

He looked up at me and smiled. Then he pulled over and we sat on the car.

August: Its so nice out here.

Me: Yes it is.

August: You know this sunset is beautiful but not as beautiful as you.

Me: You are so corny but I love you.

August: I love you too.

He kissed me and I kissed back. I love him so much.

August: You ready to go?

Me: Yes.

We got back in the car and he drove with one hand on the wheel and the other holding my hand.

August's Pov

We are at a gas station.

Alexia: Where are we now?

Me: New Mexico.

Alexia: I loved it here.

Me: Why were you were here?

Alexia: Me and my friends used to drive here during the summer and we would have so much fun here. I felt so free.

Me: Like you do now?

Alexia: Yes. The only difference is now I'm here with the love of my life.

She looked at me and smiled.

Me: I used to come here too.

Alexia: Really?

Me: Yeah. I loved driving around here too. I used to come here all the time especially after my mama kicked me out.

Alexia: I remember coming up here when my parents would fight. I just used this as a getaway place.

Me: Did they fight a lot?

Alexia: Yeah. They always argued because my dad would cheat on my mom with women at his job. I didn't know that this was happening until I came home and found him kissing his assistant in the family room when I was about 17. It hurt me a lot because I saw how he treated my mom and then I walk in to see that. I ran out the house and just pulled off. I couldn't stay there. So I drove here.

Me: Did yall ever talk to him?

Alexia: I haven't talked to my dad since the finalization of their divorce. That's been almost 5 or6 years.

Me: I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Alexia: I'm alright. I'm happy. I have the greatest man on this planet.

Me: I love you.

She smiled and looked at me. I kiss her and then she kissed back.

Alexia: Let's drive.

I started to drive and there were cars pulling up next to us.

People: Alexia!!

Alexia: Hey yall.

People: Are we partying tonight?

Alexia: You wanna party tonight?

Me: Hell yeah.

Alexia: We're partying tonight!!

We pull up to this beach and everybody got out their cars.

Girl: Lexie!!!

Alexia: Belle!!!

They hug and then Alexia came to me.

Alexia: Belle this is my boyfriend August Alsina.

Belle: Hi how are you?

Me: I'm good. How are you?

Belle: I'm good. You treating my girl right?

Me: Yes I am.

Belle: Good.

Alexia: You want a drink?

Me: I do.

Alexia: Okay here ya go. Now c'mon.

We went to where everybody was dancing and its fun.

Alexia: Whooo!!!!

This is fun.

Sunrise.....August's Pov

That was so much fun. Now we're all at this diner. We just got done eating. And see its time to get back on the road.

Belle: It was good having yall here.

Alexia: It felt good to be here.

Me: Yeah it did.

Belle: Maybe yall should come through more.

Me: We will.

Alexia: Yes we will.

Belle: Alright. Don't stay away too long.

Alexia: We won't.

They hugged and then we left. That was so much fun. We're going to do this again.
