"It's right overhead. You have to go now or you'll miss him. Bye sweetie."

"Bye dad. Love you." I kiss him on the cheek and press the dark blue button on my wrist-watch. I'm teleported into the TARDIS, my mum and dad watching. We've been working on a short scale teleportation device for about three months so that I may travel with the Doctor as my mum did.

I appear inside the TARDIS, unnoticed. The Doctor stands at the controls. I decide to let him know that I'm here by saying "You're sad, aren't you?"

He turns around quickly, surprised that I got into the TARDIS. I teleport again, across the room upside down on the couch.

"Who are you? And how'd you get in the TARDIS?" I kick my feet in the air and teleport again to where I'm sitting upright on the railing.

"Who do you think I am? Look closely." I teleport again when he approaches me. "Still not getting it?"

"Wait. Are you? But you can't be! You were..."

I nod. "Rose Tyler's daughter. Yes I was stuck in the parallel world." I hold up my wrist-watch "Advanced technology. Oh... No wifi on the TARDIS. I should install that."

"So what's your name then?" he asks.

"Lily Tyler. Took mum's last name. Where are we going?"

He stays silent for a moment while working at the controls. "Is she happy?"

"Yeah." I whisper.

"We're on our way to Florence, Italy in the 1480's." he replies, suddenly much happier.

"What happens in Florence, Italy in the 1480's?"

"I dunno. Let's find out." he pulls down a large switch.

"Y'know, you're just like you are in the stories mum and dad told." I say quietly. "Always rushing about. It's nice. Not boring."

"So you're some sort of a technology genius?"

"Taught by the best." I smile and pull out the sonic screwdriver my dad made for me. "I'm going to set up that wifi now. Gosh you have everything in here but wifi!"
