Superstitious house - chap 1

the winter chill grabbed itself around me as my heartbeat raised my body froze making it nearly impossible to know if I was either frozen or still moving forwards. I looked upon the pathway and all the remainders of rubbish from drunk teenagers thinking it would be fun to hide in a place known to have no mercy. my money was little and all that I could do was sleep in a place were no one would dare step inside. I grabbed my goat making it tighter before stepping inside the remainders of the old structure. once I stepped inside the warmth instantly hit me, it was so unbearable then all of a sudden a freezing wind blew all that away. I opened my eyes nearly squinting, all I could see were black splodges around me. I rummaged through my backpack and found my glasses I stumbled around with them, shaking. I dropped them and they make a clank on the hollow wood, the sound echoed. it must be really empty inside the house, it is abandoned after all. I picked them back up and placed them on. I wonder if I should leave them off, everything seems so creepy with them on. I decided that it would be a dumb idea to be wandering a place like this basically half blind. the stairs, or what's left, was completely wet. I searched for a hole in the roof but I couldn't find a hole of any kind. I climbed up the stairs and touched the substance it was very sticky and it tasted funny. but with nothing any more interesting about some gloppy stuff I happened to find in a haunted house I continued my horrifying journey.

"I wonder if I'll find a child's room around here?"

because a haunted house is never complete unless there's old children's toys staring at you with there lifeless eyes.
