April 8th - Boarding the plane!"I love you so much mother!!!" I said hugging my mom to the point where neither of us could breathe any longer. I was finally going! This was my dream and it is finally happening!
After I have gotten scanned I sat in the waiting room ready to board the plane. Looking through the glass I smiled and waved at my mom who was slightly crying, trying to hide the fact that "her baby girl was growing up". I sat back down, moving my legs up and down from excitement.
"12 minutes til boarding, I repeat, 12 minutes til boarding." The intercom spoke over the waiting room area, sounding anything but enthusiastic.
I turned to my mother. I was right by the glass and she was on the other side, we were making silly faces at each other, I laughed and she laughed and then I realized I was laughing and the only one making sounds in the silent waiting area. Well.Calebs point of view:
I walked into the waiting area and picked a chair closest to the door. I was nervous for this trip. I'm not really outgoing, I'm more of an introvert you could say. My parents really want me to get out and explore the world. I have no problem with it. They payed for everything and got it covered, and I think this trip will be fun. Just one year with 6 other crazy teenagers, you can do this Caleb, you can do it. That is what I kept reminding my self.
I turned and looked over at this girl laughing and looking threw the glass window at someone, probably her mom. They were making funny faces to each other. And she was laughing historically while everyone was silent and a few looks here and there at the laughing girl. She was cute. She probably didn't realize she was the only one making noises in the room, I laughed at that.We were flying all the way to North Dakota, on the boarder line of Canada, then straight to Edmonton, Canada. This was going to take my life. I wonder what everyone else in this room was doing in North Dakota. Why they have to travel there. Being interrupted by the inter com.
"6 minutes til boarding, I repeat, 6 minutes til boarding."
Oh come on just fly us already, I thought. I wanted to get the long flight over with. I wasn't to thrilled. I hated being in a plane not being able to touch the ground and knowing I was a ton of feet above the air. Well get used to it. My brain taunted at me. I guess that was true. Good point. I thought. I was going to be traveling this whole year. I'd have to get used to the feeling.Boarding the plane✈️
Violets pov:I walked up the line that formed into a hallway leading to the plane. My seat was 9a. I wonder who I was gonna sit by. They had two aisles and three long rows with two seats seated next to each other. I hope I get the window. I walked up to the front of the plane to the girl in her suit and gave her my ticket.
"Thankyou young lady, enjoy your flight." I walked down the long curvy isle and got into another line which was connected to the plane. Once I was in front of the line I showed them my boarding ticket.
