I walk into 3rd period English, a little less sleepy than last period. I don't know why but I've been hella sleepy all day. I'm usually alert at this period.

As I sit in my seat, yawning, Zonnique taps my shoulder.

"Hey Jacob." She says.

"Sup." I say. Zonnique is cute and all but, I have another girl in mind

"Look like you didn't get enough sleep." Zonnique says.

"I did, I'm just really tired for no reason." I say.

As the teacher talks about essays and mess, I start to doze off. But, I felt like I wasn't in my seat. I quickly woke, seeing that I was probably about an inch out my chair. And luckily nobody noticed, not even Zonnique, and she sits behind me.

I was able to stay awake for the rest of the class. Once the bell rang and hurried into the lunch room. Maybe some food will wake me up.

I see Arianna and Mallory sitting at our usual table. I sit there.

"Hey guys." I say, sounding tired.

"You alright Jacob?" Arianna asks.

"Yeah, just sleepy that's all." I say.

I doze off again, and I feel myself floating a little. I felt a force pull me down. I open my eyes to see Arianna's blue eyes.

"Dude, you got to control that." Mallory says.

"I'm trying. Every time I go to sleep I start to float. I had to struggle with that last night. Maybe that's why I'm so sleepy." I say.

"Probably, or maybe your body isn't used to this...change." Mallory says

"Yeah. I've been really hungry all day." Arianna says, stuffing her face with food.

"Woah Arianna slow down." I say.

"I'm hungry okay? Oh gosh I'm gonna gain so much weight." Arianna says.

"And? You're still gonna be beautiful." I say. Arianna smiles a bit.

"Thanks Jacob." Arianna says.

Mallory cocks her eyebrow. Suddenly, her eyes change into that scarlet red. Then, her eyes went wide.

"Man Mallory, what did we say about privacy?" I say.

"Oh sorry." Mallory says, her eyes changing back to the normal Hazel.

Arianna completely ignored us, cause she was stuffing her face.

"Damń girl." Mallory says. Arianna just ignores us once more.

"Just leave her be." I say.

Diggy comes to the table, with no food at all.

"You ain't hungry?" I ask.

"No, I'm starving, but every time I eat something I throw it up 5 minutes later." Diggy says.

"Man, I have never been so sleepy in my life. And every time I start to doze off, I end up floating." I say.

"Dang." Diggy says. "Damń Arianna you that hungry?" He adds.

"She can't stop eating." Mallory says.

"Damń. At least she gets to eat." Diggy says.

I noticed something. Mallory is the only one who doesn't have weird symptoms.
