There was a place in my home
Where the world melted away
Here you'd always find me
Where I wished I could stay
It was home to my friends
And they never left my side
For here I was wanted
And my faults left behind
But the pages ran shallow
And the cover grew near
I was forced to leave my world
Just as I'd always feared
This world's on a shelf now
You can find it if you try
But if you meet my friends
Tell them I never said goodbye
