Guardians of Sapphire

Treacherous spider

Her body became soaked as the rain poured down. Her hair and dress began to stick rather uncomfortably against her pale flesh.

"Excuse me miss are you okay?" Said a calm and masculine voice, much like Sebastian's. She looked up to see a tall butler like man holding an all black umbrella. As she looked up, she couldn't help but become hypnotized by his golden, inhuman eyes.

"Yes. I-I'm fine." She said hugging her knees against her chest. "Come now my lady. If you stay in the rain for too long you'll catch cold" he said pulling her up and against his chest.

He lifted her chin and made her stare into the mesmerizing gleam of his inhuman eyes; her knees became weakened and her body felt numb as she fell back and into deep unconsciousness.

When she awoke, she was laying on a royal blue bed with baby blue walls. Her body melted into a deep relaxation at the smell of sweet tea being poured into a teacup at the hands of a butler. "Umm........where am I?" She asked sitting up and looking around. "We're in your manor my lady, don't you remember?" He asked with a suspicious grin."I'm afraid I do not..... Do tell." She said taking the tea cup that he gestured to and taking a sip.

"This is your manor, you've lived here for two months now, I am your butler Claude and the head butler compared to the other servants, Hannah, and the triplets, Thompson, Timber, and Canterbury." He said taking out a nice beige sundress, from a white and blue dresser. "I will have Hannah dress you and assist you to breakfast." He said bowing and making his exit.

As Sapphire arose from the bed to stand, her head began to spin making her wobble backwards and fall onto the comfort of the bed. Looking up from her gaze, she watched as the door opened to reveal a tall made with mocha skin, a bandage over her left eye, with long purple-silver hair. 

Hannah went to Sapphire and pulled off the white nightgown she wore, revealing her rather thin body and her undergarments. She picked up the beige sundress that Claude had picked out and escorted her arms into the sleeves before letting it fall to cover up the rest of her body.  "Say.....Why do you wear that bandage there?"said Sapphire gesturing to her eye.

Hannah skinned her fingertips gently across the eye patch "I....got it from an accident that happened in the past, but right now that doesn't matter......come now, breakfast awaits you in the dining room" she said gesturing to the door. Sapphire stood up and walked out, roaming down the halls forgetting to ask for directions; if what the butler said was true, then why couldn't she remember her way to the dining room. The thought made her curious.

As she wandered helplessly through the seemingly endless hallways. She spotted a group of triplets whom were identical besides their hairstyles. "Excuse me. Can any or all of you point me in the direction of the dining room?" she asked. The triplets looked at each other before whispering amongst themselves. Then they pointed down the hall where two double doors stood. 

"Thank you" she bowed, before heading towards the doors. A butler was in her memories. But the faded voice that lingered there, wasn't Claude's.........But who's?
