I walked up to Yusei and grabbed his hand. “I need your help right now.” I led him outside and left him standing by his D-Wheel and I looked for a tent in my garage. “Will you take me to the beach? Pleaseeee!”

He shook his head before he responded. “OK.” I threw the tent on back as I got on with him and looked at the passing scenery as we went to the beach. I never ask to go to the beach unless I need to think. I really just wanted to be alone, that’s why I packed the tent. “We’re here. Do you wanna be alone or have me stay?”

“Alone please.” He nodded his head as I got off and grabbed my tent. “I have my phone if anybody needs me. Thanks Yusei.” He nodded his head as he gave me a hug and started his D-Wheel to go back to my house. I set the tent in the sand and went inside, lying down and drifting to sleep to the calming sounds of the ocean. Why did this have to be my life? Why did I have to get Crow? Why, why, why?

BACK AT THE HOUSE:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“I wonder where Yusei took her. Normally he wouldn’t just leave.” Wow, how unlike Jack.

“I don’t know but I hear his motorcycle coming. Let’s go check it out.”

“THEY’RE CALLED D-WHEELS!” Jack and Crow both yelled at the same time.

“I’m truly sorry Jack and Crow.” The only person in the world that doesn’t yell back… well besides Yugi. But, I gotta give Yami props.

As the whole gang pilled outside as Yusei got off his D-Wheel. “Where’s Jaden?” Ha, smooth Jaden.

“She’s at the beach. She needs some time alone. I suggest we all hit the sack. It’s too late for us all to drive back home.” Everybody nodded in agreement. Then all walked inside. Alexis grabbed some sleeping bags from my closet and brought them to everyone in the living room.

“Thanks Alexis.” Tea was so nice. I hate her with my whole heart.

“You’re welcome.”

Everybody got in their sleeping bags spread randomly around the room and drifted to sleep. Jaden was last lo fall asleep though. He was thinking of me. Of why he felt such anger and jealously surge through him when I had to go in the closet with Crow. Of why he felt joy when I said I had a crush. Of why he wanted to kill Crow when he saw me in Yusei’s arms coming back. And lastly, why he felt like he needed to protect me from the pain I felt when we were in my room. He drifted off eventually trying to reject any feelings he had for me. We were best friends. Nothing could be between us… right?

IN THE MORNING:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I woke up with a headache. I went to rub my face and it was wet. I opened my eyes and none of the tent was wet. Did I cry in my sleep? Just forget it, I should go back.

I grabbed my stuff and texted Yusei I was on my way back. He replied with a simple OK, and I started to walk back. I thought about last night then stopped. I didn’t want to think about Crow right now. I started to think about when I was 7 and I was with Yusei and Jaden. We were at the beach and some kid knocked down my sand castle. It was a really cool sand castle and I remember crying. Jaden and Yusei beat the crud out of that guy. I smiled at the memory as I heard Yusei’s motorcycle coming up the street. I chuckled to myself. He only let me call it a motorcycle, nobody else.

“Ready to go home Jaden?” I put my stuff on back and got on.

“Yah, thanks for getting me Yusei. Is everyone still there?” I was asking just so he wouldn’t ask about the beach. Normally he won’t but once in a blue moon he will, and I didn’t want to talk about it.

“Tea, Joey, Alexis, Crow, and Jack left. Yami, Yugi, Jaden, and I stayed to see if you were ok. So, are you ok?” He really is the brother I never had. I love him.

“Yah, I’m fine.” To tell the truth my breath had stopped when he said Jaden was still there. I don’t know what came over me but I just wanted to hug him. “Can we just go home.”

He chuckled, “We are. How could you not te…” Why does he have to know me so well? He pulled over and turned around to look at me. “What’s wrong Jaden? You always have fun riding. You never miss a second.”

I looked him straight in the eye. “I have a crush.” I looked always as he tried to understand. Ha, guys.

“Who?” He seemed really interested and that’s what scared me.

I let out a long sigh before deciding to tell him. “Jaden.” I sighed again.

“I need to tell you something. But, we need to get off for me to tell you.” He looked in pain, is the best way to describe it. I slowly got off as he did and stood on the side of the road. A car zoomed past us and my dark brown almost black hair went crazy in the wind.

Yusei bent down to me so he was eye level. “This isn’t easy for me to tell you Jaden.” He looked like he was in pain. “You know you’re like my sister. Right?” I slowly nodded. “Well, you are.” My eyes because two crystal blue pools filled with shock, excitement, and anger, I had a brother. I wasn’t alone. I actually had someone in my family. I thought they had all died, but no.

I hugged Yusei. “Thanks, but, why didn’t you tell me before?” I was curious but I was still happy to have a brother.

“Mom made me promise not to say until you trusted me enough. I’m sorry I didn’t say earlier.” He looked like I had just said I hated him, sad, alone.

“I’m happy, actually really relieved. Thanks Yusei. Now, can we go home? I’m freezing.” He nodded as he gave me his jacket then we jumped on his bike and went home.
