Layla's pov;

"Bye mom!!!"
I say as I run out of the door as fast as I can to school.
so your probably wondering why I am I'm such a hurry to get to school. well that's because we have first part of auditions today and not like some stupid school play auditions. I'm talking TOUR auditions
they are choosing  girls from our dance company to go on tour with some kids named Max and Harvey mills.Its a huge deal over 1,000 girls are trying out and only 6 make it to join! I'm really nervous because we have to sing and dance to see who has what it takes to go on tour.
Well I have been doing dance since I was 4 years old and I'm not that bad.
and I absolutely love singing I have over 10k on musically and all I do is covers.

*skip to school pov*

I finally arrive at school and I head to my advisory but there was a huge group of girls in front of my room I try to squeeze through and then get dragged out by my friends McKenzie and Cora they were jumping up and squealing like maniacs.
I start laughing then ask
"What, what's happening?why is there a huge group of girls over there?"
Mckenzie gave me a confused look then she says "wait you really don't know?!"
"Know what?!" I question.
"That max and Harvey are helping judge the auditions, and there's a whole bunch of girl fan girling out there." Cora added.
"Ew, I mean I like there work,but why waste you time on someone who doesn't care about your existence." I imply. "TRU dat!" McKenzie yells.

*skip to lunch*
"Wait so your saying that they are judging our dance and singing!!" I ask worriedly.
"yep, what's wrong Layla? you seem nervous." mckenzie askes.
Then Cora says
"well she has every right to be what happens if she missis a cue or a line or steps on her foot wrong or her voice cracks or-" "OKAY CORA THATS ENOUGH!" McKenzie says interrupting Coras statement.
"So.... uh what songs are y'all doing?"
I asked
"for singing I'm doing 'rather be' and dance 'the greatest'" Cora says. "Noice you slay at singing that song." I say then Cora does a little hair flip which caused me to laugh. Then mckenzie says " I'm doing 'Pompeii' for singing because Ik they love that song and dance I'm doing ' side to side'." "Coolio" "nice"
"So what about you Layla?" McKenzie asked me.
"Oh for song I'm doing 'lalala' and dance I'm doing 'girls talk boys'!" ( lol 5sos 😍)
I say. "Oooo I like it!" Cora said partially singing it.
after that we just laugh about all the people following the twins around and making fun of all the bratty girls.

*skip to end of school*
I was walking to my locker to put my stuff up and as I turn the corner I heard singing I peak in the studio to see the boys rehearsing. I was getting really nervous about the auditions I really don't want to mess this up. This means so much to me it would be good for me to get my name out there.

As I was walking home from school I got a text

'The girls'
Mckenzie🙊- hey girls you excited about tonight our first part of our auditions are today! In front of hunky and cutie-licious 🤤

Cora🌸- IKR IM SO FREAKING EXCITED I DONT THINK I CAN WAIT ANY LONGER TO SEE THEM!!😩😍

Me- omg y'all are so weird I swear 😂 and I'm actually really nervous I saw them rehearsing in the studio and they look hard to impress 😬!

Mckenzie🙊- oohh were they cute lol jk, Boo don't be nervous we got it!

Cora🌸- ya girls we got it! Let's go kick some ass!

Me- okay, chill Cora lol... but good luck y'all see you soon!💕
