"I said shut up!" Cole growled to her second in command, slamming her foot down on the brake making everyone lurch forward in their seats. She swung her dodge challenger into a parallel park, whipping around in her seat ready to rip into the two bickering idiots. Annabeth her second in command sunk back into her chair, teeth clenched as she bit back her retort to Rita, the muscle of Cole's group. "I don't give two flying fucks who started it, we're here on a job act like it!" Cole threw open her car's door slamming it behind her, Annabeth, Rita and her brother following suit. Annabeth and Rita knew better than to disobey their leader on a good day. This was not a good day being back in this town.
Cole stared up at the busy Starbucks in front of her, personally she found the drinks mediocre but her younger brother Derek loved it. Taking a head count of all her friends Cole lead the group into the coffee house.

Brittany tugged down on her pink singlet, till the top of her lacy bra beneath peeked out. Smiling a serpents grin she slid into the booth besides the reigning five bad boys of Saint Lutheran College. Brittany wasn't the only girl in the booth fighting for the boys' attention though she was the reigning Queen, the only girl able to keep their attention for more than a one night stand and get a conversation out of them.
Logan, Damon, Nicolas, Julian and Hunter all deliciously gorgeous in their own rights. Logan with his dusty blonde hair and bright blue eyes, Damon notoriously devilish with his honey coloured eyes and shaggy chestnut hair. Nicolas guilty for his boy next door vibe until you piss him off and he destroys you before you can yell for help. Julian has girls weak before he even opens his mouth with his strikingly chiseled features and lively grey eyes. Finally Hunter... Where all of the boys were gorgeous in their ways, Hunter was on his own level of gorgeousness. He had stunning indigo eyes, that easily had people pinned to the spot with just one look, he was gifted with thick raven hair and lush pink lips. Together they made The Five that either had people running in fear or worshipping at their feet.
Brittany was smug when she received a few nods of acknowledgement from Logan, Julian and Nicolas, earning glares of jealousy from the other females in the booth. The Five mainly conversed quietly between each other, Brittany piping in when she could.
"Thank God for summer vacation, I honestly was ready to burn down that hellhole of a school!" Logan earned a few murmurs of agreement from The Five, the brunette clutching onto his arm nodding her head vigorously hoping he would look her way. Brittany rolled her eyes at the amateur, snaking an arm around Damon's torso and pressing her chest against his side. Damon gave the blonde a side glance a sly smirk gracing his lips as he began whispering sweet words to her.
The bell over the entrance jingled as new costumers entered the cafe to indulge in caffeinated delicacies. Brittany didn't bat an eyelash in the newcomers' direction focusing solely on keeping Damon's attention.
"They're new." Nicolas jerked his head in the direction of the group of four, all of The Five watched on with intrigue as the three girls and a young boy reached the ordering station. Brittany understood why no one ever moved into Wallvan unless they were desperate. It was a quaint town in the middle of nowhere, known only for the ghost stories and legends that their ancestors spread. Everyone knew everyone and the gossip mill knew everyone's secrets no matter how well you hid them.
"They're hot!" Julian whisper shouted across their table, Brittany and the brunette in the booth hissing in annoyance. The Five chuckled at Julian's forwardness, even Hunter's lips quirking upwards. Hunter watched as a dark brunette lead the group of strangers into the back corner of the Starbucks, backs turned away from everyone as they whispered conspiratorially.
"Cole!" An employee behind the counter shouted. The dark brunette turned away from her group, her eyes an ethereal ocean blue rimmed in a rich gold flashing with fury as she clenched and unclenched her hands. The girl took her order and placed down the cup holder on the sugar table. The rest of her group joined her, an odd bunch Hunter thought as she handed the drinks out. One of the other girls was built like a truck but still possessed attractiveness that had some of The Five members gaping. The other a fiery red head with a mean looking nose piercing. The brunette beauty bent down to a young boy probably no older than nine handing him a chocolate milkshake that had him wearing a Cheshire cat's smile, the boy was blonde haired with piercing emerald eyes. The brunette's eyes softened a little as she gave the little boy his drink before hardening again as she stood tall with the other girls. All three of the girls sported a trail of words down their left arms, the language unknown to any of The Five.
Brittany fumed, the tips of her ears turning tomato red as The Five continued to watch the group of strangers.
How dare they!
The blonde had worked hard to keep The Five's attention she wasn't about to let it be stolen from her by some out of town bitches! Grabbing the brunette's iced coffee she turned to The Five giving them a flirtatious wink.
"If they're new we should put them in their places." Strutting over to the oddball group she flipped her curled locks over her shoulder away from the mess about to occur. Brittany slammed into the dark brunette, cold liquid going all down the front of the new girl.
Cole gasped as the ice cold coffee drenched her, she could see her second and Rita cover their mouths as they swore. Cole felt her anger bubbling over, her hands clenching into tightly curled fists trying to contain it. Annabeth and Rita noticed the fire blazing in their friend's eyes and grabbed hold of Derek and quickly exited the cafe.
"Oh I'm so sorry!" Brittany cried innocently in a sickly sweet tone, she checked over her shoulder to make sure The Five were watching. Pleased to see she had their attention she turned back to the drowned rat.
"You bitch!" Cole seethed snatching a fistful of napkins and dabbing at her ruined shirt. Cole ran an eye over the fake blonde observing as she sent back looks to a table of five guys watching the commotion enthusiastically.
"I'm the bitch?" Brittany feigned hurt but the other girl's anger was becoming too entertaining to keep playing innocent. "It's not my fault your invisible!" Her thin lips turned into a wicked smirk, causing Cole's body to shake with rage.
"Don't push me, Barbie." Cole took a threatening step closer to Brittany and the calm fury that coated the brunette's words had Brittany gulping in fear. Then she remembered the booth filled with the notorious bad boys she had to do this.
"This is my town and someone has to tell you where you fit in" Cole's fist collided with Brittany's nose and an awful cracking noise echoed through the Starbucks. Brittany crumpled to the floor clutching her nose as blood pooled into her hands. Cole was aware of the sudden silence in the coffee house all eyes on her as she crouched down over Brittany.
"Sorry Barbie didn't see you there." Hunter burst out laughing followed swiftly by the rest of The Five, it was about time someone put Brittany in her place. Cole glared up at them catching Hunter's eye he sobered up, something inside of both of them snapped and they were no longer in the coffee house.
Cole hung helplessly in the centre of a stone room, her arms chained above her head and feet dangling mere inches off of the ground. Her clothes were ripped, blood soaking it and making pools on the floor beneath her. Busting open the stone room's door Hunter raced beginning to hack away at the shackles around her wrists.
"Hunter." Cole croaked as the shackles snapped open and she dropped to the floor. Hunter swiftly scooped her up into his arms, cradling her close to his chest.
"I'm here Cole."
Hunter blinked Starbucks's interior back into his vision not sure what he had just seen, a very pissed Cole scowled at him. Snapping her teeth at a bewildered Hunter, Cole made her way out of Starbucks and joined her friends ready to forget about the frightening vision that happened between her and the indigo eyed boy she had called Hunter.
