Love Notes From a Hopeless Romantic

winter

It was finally winter
Snow falling down from the sky
Ice crystals slowly taking over the water
Sleeves got longer
Days became shorter
Pale faces with a touch of pink
Living rooms got cozier

I didn't mind it being cold
Her embrace was my comfort
Her love would warm me up
She could only look at me
And fire would burn through my body

But she wasn't here
She left me to freeze
To warm up someone else

My sleeves became longer
My days became shorter
My face went pale
No colour on my cheeks
No one here to warm me up
The fire inside me was extinguished

I am very sorry for not updating, i have been really busy with school and still am.
Luckily i'll be on winter break in a few days so hopefully i'll update more then.
I am not super proud of this but i wrote it real quick during class today and i thought i'd share it. :)
