-My dear child, now is not the time to give up. They need you to help them. We all do, without you, we are all going to die-I was floating. Floating in nothingness. There was nothing here, except for that voice. That woman. She appeared above me
"Who are you" I asked her. She was beautiful. Flowing hair and a beautiful face. Imagine the prettiest girl you know, and she would be nothing compared to this woman.
I'm the one here to help you. To guide you. You are no longer just a misfit girl in your peers. You are the girl whose going to save them all.
"I don't think you have the right girl. I'm nothing. I'm not even that smart, I can pretend I am all I want but I'm not good at anything. I can't save the world
That's where you're wrong my child, I have seen your future and your past. I have seen all of your lives and have been here for every one of them.
"I don't understand" I felt a pull. Somethings pulling me back from the nothingness.
Don't worry. You will, soon enough.
"Wait! I don't know your name!"
"Athusa"
That was the last thing I heard before, waking up gasping on a couch.
"ALLISSA" I heard I voice scream from beside me
I tried to sit up but I got a major dizzy spell. Ameile grabbed my shoulders and leaned me back down on the pillow that was on the couch
"No, don't try to get up yet. It's not a good idea, you're very weak right now. You're life force is connected to you're magic, and the dark druid almost drained you. But I was able to bring you back from the brink of death" she said, she paused for a second, looking me in the eyes, "You're lucky Allissa. Very few can come back from an attack like that."
The mother came into the room and rested on the doorway.
"Thank you Amelie, that will be all for now." Amelie nodded and got up and left. She came and sat down on the couch. I sat up too.
"Now love, don't worry. There's no need to be afraid" she said "I'm sure you have a lot of questions, so I'm here to answer them. First off, my name is Kalei. You have already met my husband Edward, my sons Peter and Alex, and daughter Aria Malia and Amelia correct?"
"Yes ma'am" I said in a small voice. This lady could strike fear into God himself if anything like that exists. "Uh.Uh... Pardon my asking, but they aren't really your children are they? I mean..." I faded out
She gave a small laugh.
"No they most certainly are not. I am the head of this clan, their protector, mentor, Doctor, confident, whatever they need me to be. In many ways, I serve as their mother and Edward as their father "I responded "but what about their actual parents they've got to have real parents out there and-" I stopped myself. "I'm so sorry. I have an issue with saying stuff before I think about them." I looked away.
"Don't worry dear. I am not their birth mother, no. That does not stop me from living and caring for them as they were my own" She got up and went to the bookshelf in the corner of the Room. She turned back towards me. "I have been with Alex the longest out of everyone in the clan. I'm sure by now you've pieced together that druids live extremely long lives. Our home is in an opposite realm, one where times passes at a slower pace than it does here. That's where Druids can obtain their full powers, after they visit the center and drink from the fountain. It's where the humans legendary fountain of youth comes from. 100 years here would be 1000 years in Mybria. The first druids crossed the border between our world and this one back when humans still lived in small herds hunting the surface for food to survive. After a while of staying here it was discovered that the druids could no longer have children of their own. But all hope was not lost, we discovered that with these humans we could create children that would grow into their powers, all hope not lost for us. But as time went on there was a faction of druids who believed we were far superior than the humans, they would eventually grow into the dark druids as you have recently been acquainted with. But that's a lesson for another time."
I remained silent during all if this, listening intently. She continued.
"Back to your original question, as I strayed off track from, Alex has been with me since there were kings and queens in your world. He was born to
Such a couple, but as his life progressed his druid magic was already showing signs. So they had him locked away, not having the heart to burn their son at the stake. He lived his childhood in the dark alone and unloved, until one day a druid sensed how in distress he was. she came and freed him from the place he was being held prisoner. I cared for the boy since his freedom, he was brought to me to heal and we formed an instant bond. In his eyes I'm the only mother he ever had. I met Edward centuries after I met Alex. I fell in love and the rest is history." She told meI was speechless.
Amelie came into the room.
"Mother we really need your help in here. I can answer any questions she has." Amelie said. Kalei went to leave the room and whispered something in Amelies ear. Amelie nodded and went to sit by me.
"So, do you want to know my story?" she asked. I nodded, and she begun to finish her story.
Uh, okay so, I'm sorry... I haven't updated this in like year. This is as for as I got previously, so I figured I should post it.
