Chapter 47

Annie's pov;
"Guys lets all sleep over at my house!" Yells Katie as we are putting our stuff away in our back packs. Me and Arden nod our heads as we walk over to our parents. They agree but say we are going to eat first, so Arden and Katie ride with me. Me decide on a Mexican place nearby and when we get there we all hop out of the car quickly because we are so hungry. When we get in there I discover that mrs jill has picked up Ryan and Brennan, I don't look Brennan in the eyes at all while we are walking in. I still have feeling for him but after what he did with liv I'm not so sure. When we get inside I have to sit next to him, and Arden and Katie wink at me. I try and focus my attention on them the whole time but Brennan keeps trying to start a conversation. He notices I don't want to talk to him so he grabs Ryan's kids menu and starts a tic tac toe game on it, I can't help but play because it's my favorite. I win all three rounds and Brennan is such a sore loser that he flips it over to the back and draws some more. I keep beating him and eventually the food comes, so I turn my attention back towards Arden and Katie. Katie is on my other side and she nudges my arm and smirks at me. I blush as I begin to eat my nachos.

We get in the car to leave for Katie's house, it's super cramped but luckily I don't have to sit next to Brennan again, this time I'm in the back with Arden and Katie. It doesn't take long to get there and we immediately run up to Katie's room, after laying around and eating candy for a while we start to talk. "I wonder what livs up to" I say and Katie agrees. She has blocked all of us on Instagram and hasn't been at gym, there's rumors she switched gyms. She even blocked coach Mary! We decide to make a fake account, when we find livs account she barely has any followers, only around 2000 and she is getting lots of hate, she only has one post left so we read it.
"I have decided to quit gymnastics, I'm moving to a different state that I won't tell anyone for my own safety, I'm starting my life over and if anyone I knew before is reading this then don't try and find me"
We gasp at the fact that she quit gymnastics, we decide to leave it alone for now thought because we don't want to get into her drama. "Oh no" says Arden and we both turn to her asking what's wrong. "I have a violin recital tomorrow and mom says I have to come home" me and Katie are sad but we understand and give her a hug, Arden's mom takes Ryan with her to drop him off at a friends nearby. Katie's parents announce that it's date night, so soon after they leave too. "I'm super sweaty, and I think I need a reallyyyyyy long shower, looks like it's just you and Brennan" Katie winks and locks the bathroom door before I can stop her. Great, now it really is just me and Brennan.
