Sierra was very traumatized from the whole situation. Someone had died right outside of her house. Her "haunted" house. Luckily her and her brother were excused from school for the week.
Sierra mostly laid on the couch. She didn't do anything but watch TV and eat ice cream. She was just trying to forget about what had happened the previous night.
Her mom had stayed home from work for monday but she knew she wouldn't be able to stay home all week.
"Are you sure you two will be okay home alone with grandma the next few days?" She asked Sierra looking very concerned.
"We will be fine mom. Grandma sleeps most the day anyways. We also have a phone we can call on just in case anything happens." Sierra said grabbing her mothers hand to reassure her.
"Okay...what would you like for dinner? Your father will be home soon and I would like to have dinner ready by the time he gets here." She said walking towards the kitchen.
"Mac and cheese with hot dogs sounds good!" Sierras brother yelled from his room.
"Ooo yeah! That sounds so good!" Sierra said her mouth watering while thinking about it.
"Okay." Sierras mom replied with and easiness in her voice.
Sierra sat and watched the TV. She was on the second season of pretty little liars. She had only started watching it that morning and she was already so interested.
After starting episode 5 of the show, the TV started cutting out. The blurred gray lines ran down the screen.
"Awe man! MOM!" Sierra yelled from the living room to her mother.
Her mother ran into the room. As soon as she stepped in the TV went back to normal. "What is it sweety?"
Sierra looked from her mom to the TV and back to her mom. "Oh nothing. Nevermind."
Her mother looked confused but went about cooking anyways. That was so weird... Sierra thought to herself.
At around seven o'clock Sierras father walked in the door. "Mmm it smells good in here!"
Sierras mom peeked around the corner and yelled "dinner is served!"
After eating dinner and everyone exchanging how their day went they all went to their rooms. All except Sierra.
Sierra knew what happened at night in her room. There was no way she was sleeping in there alone.
Sierra finished up episode six of pretty little liars and then decided she was gonna go to sleep. She quickly faded into a dream.
Sierra woke up with a jolt. She sat up very quickly. She had a terrible headache. She tried to scream to her mom but she couldn't. She looked around and all over the walls were letters and numbers.
Then she noticed a door. It was straight in front of her. She started going towards it. Not because she wanted to but almost like she was being forced. The closer and closer she got to the door, the more it opened.
She finally got inside and the door closed behind her. She looked down at a set of long stairs. Her head was pounding but she had a feeling she needed to go down.
It felt like years as she walked down the slimy gross stairs. It seemed as though there was no end. But she could see a light in the distance. She decided to run so that she could get there faster.
Once she got to the bottom the room was filled with thread, cotton, buttons, fabric, and dolls. Sierra was stunned but didn't feel scared. She felt quite comfortable.
She sat in the office chair in the middle of the room. She spun around a few times. She was having so much fun she didn't even notice that her head didn't hurt anymore.
Once she stopped spinning her heart almost jumped out of her chest. As she had been spinning the room changed. Now she was in a dark room. An old lady was now in front of her in a chair.
Once Sierra noticed the woman her chair stopped rocking. The woman. Stop sewing what she had and was now still.
Sierra walked towards the woman. "Stay back!" A raspy voice screamed from in front of her.
Sierra got wide eyed. She fell back and fell through the floor.
Sierra opened her eyes. She had a terrible headache. She looked in front of herself now. She had just fell from the top of her stairs. She was in terrible pain. She had gotten the wind knocked out of her.
She screamed and cried. Her mom and dad didn't take long to get to her. Her dad looked at her arm. She had broke her elbow.
