Chapter 4...
"Where did you go at the party?"
That was the question I was constantly asked Monday morning by my friends. There were many rumors going around about how I lost my virginity. I didn't mind really, it would just let guys know I was an experienced bad girl. Jacob and I hadn't talked since Sunday morning when he drove me home from the party. Surprisingly it hadn't been awkward. We actually had a nice conversation.
"Avery, hello?" Chloe called. I snapped out of my thoughts.
"Oh, uh... I had a headache so I went to lay down upstairs. I must have fallen asleep."
"What about the rumors that you lost your virginity? Are those true?" Chelsea winked giving me a smirk.
I rolled my eyes. "Funny, but I have to get to class! Talk to you girls later!" I called over my shoulder as i sprinted down the hall way.
I didn't pay attention to where I was going; I was just in a hurry to get away from my friends. I suddenly shot backwards onto the ground. Ouch that hurt. I slowly opened my eyes to see a smirking Jacob. "Watch out cutie!" He stretched out a hand for me to take, but I pushed it away picking myself up off the floor.
"Thanks." I whispered quietly slipping my way around his.
"Wait up!" He called jogging up next to me. "Anyone asked you out yet?"
"No, and they won't if you stick around!" I gave him a hard push, but he didn't budge. "Leave me alone Jacob!" I annoyingly yelled.
"I like em' feisty!" He growled. I stiffed a laugh and sent him a fake glare. "Alright, alright I'm gone!"
I silently sighed. "Is that asshole bugging you?" Max, a guy from my biology asked.
"Nah, its fine, but thanks!" I winked seductively at him.
He chuckled. "You're kind of cute."
I smirked, "Thanks, you're not to bad yourself." I said pretending to check him out.
He handed me a slip of paper with his number in it, "Call me, maybe we could hang out sometime?"
"Like a date?" I asked stupidly, as I twirled one of my caramel highlights around my finger.
"Yeah, is that cool?
I nodded. "Pick me up Thursday!" I winked and ran off to class, carefully this time.

"Avery, I'm done with you ignoring us! Did you or did you not have sex?" Chloe practically screamed.
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn’t!" I smirked. They all sighed in frustration.
"Come on! Why can't you tell us?" Britt whined.
"Fine, yes I did have sex, but that's all I'm going to tell you."
"Who?" The all yelled.
I wagged a finger in each of their curious faces, "I said, that's all I'm telling you!"
They all shot me glares, but I didn't care. It was good to be the talk of the table for once.

The week went by fast. Rumors still spread about my virginity, but I didn't mind. It was Thursday night. One more day left of school until the weekend, also, my date with Max. I was finishing up my beach wavy hair. I had dressed in a purply-blue high-low skirt with a flowing white tank top. My make up was done natural looking. Max and I were going out for a fancy supper in town; he was supposed to be here any minute now. I rushed out of my colorful bedroom into the living room. My mom was reading a new book she enjoyed and my father was flipping through the new channels.
