I hold her hands with immense gentility. Her touch is so warm. It's like when you get perfectly bundled up in blankets and don't ever want to move.
She twirls me around with her grip on my hands. We swirl and spin we a slow pace. Her feet tip tapping along the way. I wonder if she's cold? She is barely covered and shoeless in this cold weather. She doesn't seem to mind the cold. She seems to delight in the frigid gales. Her ever persistent smile upon her hips. She giggles lightly as she watches me trip over my feet. I must look like a idiot but she seems to think I'm the funniest thing she's ever laid eyes on.
We stop twirling. She draws me close and we hug tenderly. Her body is so warm so comfortable. She smells like rainfall and peace. Her touch so soft and soothing. She's so alien. Such a rare gem planted on this planet and out of all the humans she could be dancing in the rain with she's dancing with me.
I've never looked at people in a romantic way. Love is pointless to me. Sex is only for repopulating and I have urge to spawn other mentally fucked up kids. So love has always been a part of my life I just don't care about. But now I'm looking at this playful nix and all I can think of is this must be love.
I look down at our bloody hands. She willingly stained herself. Why?
I don't even know her name. I don't know where she came from. I swore I was alone on this street but here she is. We stand in silence. Holding each other and my nose buried in her hair. The rain falling hard around us but landing soft on our skin. Her body heat was intense and I could feel myself warming up.
"Who are you?"
She looks up at me. She eyes sad and her smile fleeing her face. The rain now seems to blend with her now. She caresses my cheek.
"I'm here to take you home."
Her eyes shine bright. She holds me a little tighter. Her hold on my hand tighter.
"You have to go with me."
I only hug her back. The smell of rainfall and peace in my nose. I smile.
"Okay."
