Where should I take him? Thought Josh as he walked home from what he thought of an awesome day. I guess I can try taking him to the pizza place down the street. As he walked, he could hear words of hatred everywhere. "GOD HATES FAGS! LOVE IS BETWEEN A MAN AND A WOMAN! FAGGOTS GO TO HELL!" And more words of ignorance. He tried to ignore it until he got home, but the hatred got to him. He ran and ran to ignore it.
Finally he got home and plopped on the couch. "Hi honey!" He heard as he walked into the dining room. "Hey mom." He responded. He saw his mother working on some type of project. I guess it's for work. "I'll be in my room if you need me." He said as he walked upstairs. His room was a mess, clothes and trash everywhere. He opened his book and saw a slip of paper fall out. What is that? I wonder who put it there. He turned the paper around as he picked it up. He saw a phone number on it and "call me" beneath it. Josh could feel himself blush.
He then saved the number on his phone and started on his astronomy homework. He couldn't get Kevin out of his mind.--Time skip--
Josh was supposed to be asleep by now since he's usually knocked out at 10 o' clock. It was 12:23 and he wondered if Kevin is still awake. He texted him asking if he was.
Surprisingly, he got a text.J
osh-- Hey, you still awake?
Kevin-- Yeah, what's up
Josh-- Oh...well I just wanted to know more about you before we go on the date
Kevin-- Oh, ok then
Kevin-- Well, my I have a pet snake. His name is Voldemort
Kevin-- That's him right there
Josh-- He's so cute. I can see why you named him Voldemort
Josh-- Well now that we're talking about pets, I have a pet lizard. His name is Gumbo
Kevin-- Gumbo?
Josh-- Yeah, wierd name huh? I named him that because the first time I got him, he fell into my plate of gumbo. Luckily the gumbo was just warm
Kevin-- Hehe. I've got to say, your lizard is very cute
Josh-- Yup
Josh--Hey, so I was wondering, when exactly would be a good time to go to our date?
Kevin-- Oh, well I guess at 5 pm on Saturday would be good
Josh-- Ok, I'm free that time so that's good
Kevin-- We should probably go to sleep right now. It's getting late
Josh-- You're right, good night
Kevin-- 'night
