Chapter 4

Chapter 4: Louis or Niall?

        The next day, I had to drive myself into school. Louis never came to my house to pick me up.
        I get to school and walk to my locker. Once again everyone's staring at me. Why? Doesn't anyone else have something else to do than stare at me as I casually walk to my locker? Apparently not.
        Ugh. I honestly can't stand school.
        I open my locker, take my books out, close it, and finally walk to my first class, study hall.

        My best friend, Vanessa is in my study hall. We sit right next to each other. The study hall monitor allows us to talk, which I'm glad about. I have SO much to tell her!

        "Hey, Amber..."
        "Hey, Vaness..."
        "So... I heard about Harry and Niall..."
        "Yeah I know... I have no idea what that was about... Harry and Louis seem to have something against Niall..."
        "I wonder what it is."
        "Me too..." I say. Just then the phone rings.
        "Amber Styles?" My study hall monitor says.
        "Yes?" Uh oh.
        "Main office." She says with a concerned look.
        "Okay..." I gather my books and walk down to the main office. I have a bad feeling about this...

        I walk into the main office and guess who's there? Louis, Harry, and Niall... Shocker!
        "Oh boy... What the hell did you do this time?!" I am so annoyed.
        "Nothin'..." Louis, Harry, and Niall all say suspiciously.
        "Uh huh... Then why are you all sitting in the main office?" I cross my arms giving them a look.
        Louis sighs along with Harry and Niall...
        "You got into another fight didn't you?"
        "Uh huh..." They all say in unison.
        "I am really starting to wonder something... What is going on?"
        Niall finally speaks up, "Okay... Louis and Harry beat me up for trying to steal you away from them."
        "LOUIS!!!! HARRY! WHY?!?!" If they don't tell me soon I'm gonna lose it!
        "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttt????" They both say.
        "Oh, stop being dumb! You know what you did!" Niall argues.
        "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttt????" Louis and Harry say again.
        "Stop being such a dumb butt! I would say the other word, but there's no foul language tolerated in school." Niall smirks.
        "Whhhaaa-"
        "SHUT! UP!" I scream at them.
        They all look scared... "Hehe... Sorry..." I say apologetic.
        "We did no such thing! You're a liar!" Louis yells.
        At ths point, Niall's friends, Liam and Zayn walk in...
        "We're liars? Ha... That's funny! You're the one's lying here!" Zayn points to Louis and Niall.
        "Dude! I'm on your side! I'm not the one lying here!" Niall puts his hands up in defense.
        "Oh, sorry man!" Zayn redirects his pointer finger to Harry.
        "I liked it better when he was pointing at Niall." Harry says childishly while crossing his arms.
        Everyone gives him a look...
        "What?" Harry says confused.
        "Nothing..." All of us say.
        "Alright... What keeps happening to all of you?" Mr. Turner comes in sounding concerned, but annoyed at the same time.

Niall's POV:

        "Mr. Turner... I just wanna say that I tried to stop the fight, but they wouldn't stop punching and kicking me."
        "Mr. Tomlunson and Mr. Stules is this true?"
        "Whaaaa-?!"
        "DON'T EVEN START!!!!" Amber yells at them.
        I chuckle to myself. She glares at me. I act like nothing happened.
        "Miss Stules... Why are you here?"
        "You kinda called me down here from study hall." She says annoyed. Like SUPER annoyed.
        "Miss Stules, I'm shocked that you're using that tone with me!!!!! You should know better!!!!!!" Mr. Turner yells at her.
        She looks terrified and as if she were about to cry.
        "Hey! Back off!" I step in and say.
        "Excuse me? Mr. Huron? That is completely unacceptable!!!"
        "No, you're completely unacceptable!!" Louis steps in defending me. Wait, he's what? Huh?
        "Mr. Tomlunson! How rude!"
        "I'm the rude one!?" He snaps back.
        "Louis, stop!" Amber steps in and holds him back by the arm.
        She says some soothing things to him, I guess, because he seems to calm down.
        "Mr. Tomlunson, I am very disappointed in you! I'm sentencing you, Mr. Stules, and Mr.Huron to two weeks of detention."
        "WHAT?!?!!?" Harry, Louis, and I say.
        "It's your decision to make the right choices or not! Mr. Tomlunson, I did see you punch Mr. Huron..."
        "Ha!" Niall, Liam, and Zayn laugh.
        "But, I did indeed see Mr. Huron and you two punch AND kick Mr. Tomlunson and Mr. Stules." Mr. Turner gestures to Liam and Zayn.
        "Sir, do you even know our last names?" Liam asks him changing the subject.
        "Well of course I do! You're Mr... Uhm... Mr... Uhhh... Ummm..."
        "Payne."
        "Right, right... And you're Mr..." He looks at Zayn.
        "Malik..."
        "Right, yes. That's right..."
        "GET BACK TO WHAT YOU WERE SAYING!!!!" Amber screams.
        "Mr. Tomlunson, you and I will be having lunch together for the rest of this month. No exceptions! These guys were clearing defending themselves."
        "WHAT?!" Louis yells at him.
        "Starting today!"
        "But... I..."
        "All of you are dismissed!"
