I awoke in a cold white room. The room stripped of everything, but a lumpy grey matress. I ran to the door trying to free myself. It was locked.  I cried for help and I thought I had found it until I saw the scar on his eye.
"Miss me?" He asked with a smile.
I couldn't breathe let alone speak. I was frozen.
"You're gonna pay for what you did," he said calmly coming closer to me.  My heart nearly stopped. I tried to back away, but I fell onto the mattress. He pounced on me pinning me down. I screamed for help. He struck my face.
"Screaming will only make it worse baby doll. Just give in and realize no one cares about you." The words slithered from his lips. Petrified I tried to push him off of me amd he responded with a blow to my abdomen making it impossible for me to move.  All I could feel was fear when he started lifting my gown. What halogens after that is awful. I'll spare you the details and just tell you that Nevangaline held my hand as I cried.

To this day the big man with the scar still "visits" me from time to time.  Im still put in the room with the lightning and Nevsngiline still holds me when I cry. I guess it's true....once you're in a looney bin no one cares anymore...
