"I do not understand Christmas" by boyfriend Vision says
"Well it's a day you spend with friends and family and you give gifts" I explain
"I see, is it a human tradition?" He asks
"Yeah it is" I reply
"I'll be back soon" he says and he phases through the wall
Left all alone I go to the kitchen to start cooking dinner. I wonder where Vision went. This is his first Christmas since he was created. He doesn't really understand it though. It's so cute. I think he wants to learn more about human traditions.
Eventually Vision comes back just as I'm finished cooking dinner.
"Oh good you're back, dinners ready" I say
"Oh wasn't it my turn to cook?" He asks
"Vision you can't really cook, well you can't taste" I answer
"Ohh um right" Vision stutters "After dinner there's something I want to give you"
I raise my eyebrow but don't say anything, we sit down and begin eating. I keep looking at Vision and he looks very nervous.
"Vision are you ok?" I ask
"Yes I'm fine" he says
I smile and go back to eating, when I am finished Vision pulls me to the living room and tells me to cover my eyes. I follow his orders and cover my eyes. I hear something like paper or plastic. Vision tells me to open my eyes.
When I do I see him holding out a box wrapped in red and green paper. I look into his eyes and he smiles.
"What's this?" I ask
"You told me that at Christmas time people exchange gifts" Vision states
"Not usually before Christmas Day, but it's an early Christmas present! I smile
He hands it to me and I open it, inside there is a beautiful (F/g) necklace.
"Oh Vision, it's beautiful" I say with tears in my eyes
"Why are you crying, are you sad?" He asks
"No" I laugh "I'm happy"
He takes it from me and puts it around my neck. I turn around and kiss him on the lips. He immediately returns it. I'm so happy about the necklace, it's absolutely beautiful and it's my favourite gem. But now I'll need to get a Christmas present for Vision. I wonder what he would want?
