I started the experiments with Vegapunk for about two months now. In the newspaper it said that Luffy had made an alliance with Law. News has also stated that Luffy had took down another warlord, that warlord was Doflamigo. I was shocked, Luffy had grown to be so strong. I wonder where they are heading now.
"___! Dragons here!" Vegapunk shouted interrupting my thoughts.
"Ok! I will be there in a minute!" I shouted back. I quickly finish writing in my book and run into the living room where Dragon would be.
"Dragon what brings you here?" I questioned while taking a sit on the sofa.
"Is the experiments going well?" He replied.
"Yeah they are! But I have completely lost the ability to feels pain in my left hand, it feels like the hand isn't even there anymore. To be honest it scares me a little." I replied while looking down at my now clearly visible arm.
"I see, that was also your dominant hand wasn't it." He replied looking at my hand. (The dominant hand is like right-handed and left-handed)
"But don't worry Dragon that was only the best news out of the worst!" I smiled.
"Wha-! There's even worst news?" He asked.
"Yes! Listen, I need to somehow get Shanks to help me, well more like talk to him. The one that made Luffy into a pirate in the first place!" I shouted in his face reminding Dragon.
"I get it. I get it. No need to get in my face. So how are you going to get him to help you and how are you going to without the world gov finding out?" Dragon asked pushing me back onto my sit.
"Ha! That's easy. I already have a plan and the world gov hardly knows my background!" I replied smiling as a dark aura come out of me.
"That's never a good sign." Dragon mumbled under his breath.
I ignored it and decided to annoy Dragon about Luffy's childhood as Sabo has also might have told Dragon millions of time over and over again.
--- Mini Time-skip 3 Hours ---
After three hours Dragon left with a really pissed off face as we talked about work and then I would one way or another try and relate it to Luffy. It was the most fun I had in awhile.
I sighed thinking why I didn't tell him. Why I didn't tell him about how I can't do anything for another 10 years. It is impossible for me to finding Shanks without my ability as he is always moving. It would put a lot of stress on my body if I used it now.
"What are you going to do now? Your Akuma Akuma devil fruit won't help. (Akuma stands for Devil = Devil Devil Fruit, it sounds wired in English) You said that you have a plan are you going to stick with that? Or do something else?" Vegapunk asked. He doesn't know my other ability yet so I should be fine. For now, at least.
"Well I'm planning on going back to my hometown in five years. So, I will be gone in five years times. Even though it will take 10 years for me to heal I need to find Shanks to tell him the news. So I ask of you to not tell Dragon or anyone, OK Vegapunk?" I replied while slowly walking to my room waiting for an answer.
"Ok but there won't be promises. If I think that your body is still in bad shape I will tell him." He replied while looking at me.
"Thank you. Now, when will the next experiment start?" I asked as I began to walk again.
"It starts at 6 o'clock don't be late!" He shouted as I closed the door.
"Ok!" I shouted back. Tears fell down my eye. I quickly wiped them away but they wouldn't stop. I slid down and began sobbing quietly. I had to tell Shanks no matter what. Was my last thought before I fell asleep from crying.
I woke up and looked at the time it was 5 o'clock. I was in luck. I had one hour to clean my face of any evidence of me crying.
I turned on the taps and started cleaning my face. It looked better than before, I walked out my room and went to the experiment room. This room is the place where Vegapunk helps my body regain my strength and stop the illness that I had, it was unknown to the work and Vegapunk, but he got rid of it. 'For now at least.' Was my thought.
"Time for training! Or medication?" I questioned.
"We will be doing an hour of each. With a 15 minute break in between." He replied.
With that I began the daily training that Vegapunk had given me and got the medication done.
5 years passed by like a flash just like that.
