first mission part 2

Zayla pov

I punch the green, three eyed monster into its neck with black magic watching it fall to the ground and die. I had finished my first mission quickly because I wanted to tell my Mother and Father that I completed my mission. I did a fist punch to the air and said I did it! I've completed my first mission! In my head.

I then walk over to the mayor to get my payment of the job and went on my way back home.

I called my Father on the laciman (an/: again still don't know the spelling lol). "Father! Did you see me?!"

"Yes I did. You did great"

"Thank you! I wanted to make it fast so I could talk to you about it!"

"What do you mean?"

"Never mind! Anyways... I'm gonna call mom about it. And tell her how it went! I love you Father!"

"I love you too. And could you tell your Mother to call or come see me when you talk to her?"

"Yeah sure thing! Bye!"

And with that the call ended. I then started to call Mother.

"Hello Mother? You there?"

"..."

"Mother!?"

"..."

"Is anyone there?!"

I still heard no sound so I ended the call and put my laciman in my bag. I then started to run to the train station.

What's going on? Why didn't she answer? I know she hasn't been feeling well... I just hope everything is okay! I thought to myself.

When I got off the train I ran as fast as I ever could. I was still unsure about how my Mother was. I tried calling her numerous times but she didn't answer.

When I got to the mansion I looked all over the house. I went straight to her room and all through every corner in the house. I still couldn't find her. The only place I had not gone was my room.

What if she when to the room with the book! Thinking this I ran to my room and looked at my book case.

It was turned around and looked like someone went through it.

I knew it! I thought.

I went to the book case and pressed the button. I was again in the cold stone maze I was once in before. I ran through the maze and didn't see her. I then went to the stone button that went to the room with the book. I pushed the button and saw my Mother on the floor beside a man that had porcelain skin, very long black hair, and had a skin tight long sleeve shirt and skin tight pants with baggy shorts that were both black. He had no shoes, and his eyes were blue but faded to red towards the middle. He was holding the magically book I was told not to open.

I look back down to my Mother and look back at him.

"Who are you?! And what did you do to my Mother?!"

"I am this book" he said looking at the book.

"Book?! What are you talking about? Answer my questions!" I say taking off my limiters. He takes his gaze off of the book and looks at me happily.

"Ah, I see it now. You have the power of him, do you now?" He said walking up to me. I back away to the wall unsure about him.

"I'll tell you all that you want to know if you bring me to him" he said to me. By now he had me pushed against the wall, his arm without the book was above my head and the arm with the book was on my side. His body had completely pinned me to the wall where I was unable to leave his grasp.
