Camilla

The three of us set out into the woods. We would find her. Maybe she just twisted her ankle and her phone died and she was just waiting for help. I had to stay positive. I couldn't handle another tragedy. Daddy was enough.
"I'm going to call Nic to come help" I said. "Then you two can cover the east side trails and we can cover the west side trails." He arrived quickly.

"Oh God. Baby. I'm so sorry." He said embracing me. We split up and began searching. Anita, the house keeper was at the house in case she came back and would call us. We hiked for an hour and I was giving up hope when I saw it. I rushed toward the Bobbi pin and grabbed it from the grass. It's gold. It had to be hers. Who else wore them but her?  "We are close." I announced.
We walked another half hour when Nic stopped dead in his tracks and looked up like a guard dog. "What is it?" He didn't so much as flinch. I followed his gaze and saw a man walking our way.
