"Deborah!"

I was walking down the aisle of the first floor when someone called my name out.

"Sarah, what are you doing here?"

"I know I am not from this department, but I just wanna invite you to a mini party later. Only if you want."

"A party? Well... That sounds awesome."

"You mean awesome like a yes?"

"Awesome like a yes," I smiled.

"See you later, then."

"Yeah, see you."

Sarah and I shared a hug before parting ways. When I was about to get inside the room, Shawn got in the way. My forehead wrinkled as I looked at him. He sent me a warm smile, showing off his bright teeth.

"Shawn? Is there anything that I can do?"

"Yeah, there is. I want you to come to the party tonight."

"Um, sorry, Shawn. A friend just let me in to her party tonight, so I bet I won't consider yours."

"Yeah? That's fine, but...well...it's sad that you didn't even consider me as your friend also."

What? Why do I have a feeling that Shawn is jealous? This can't be...

"I know, but..."

"You don't have to explain, Deborah. I was just kidding. Bye."

"B-Bye..."

Wh-What was that?

I figuratively wiggle my head, then entered my room.

"Hey, how have you been?"

Vernice sent me a look like that of a detective who tries to investigate the happenings in life.

My mind went on reminiscing the things that happened yesterday when I saw that damn guy, Ron. I even cursed him. Ha-ha. I really hope he'll suffer.

"Doing great." I smiled.

"Well, that's good to hear."

"How were you coping with... you know... your boy, Kirk?"

Vernice just stared at the air for a while. Then, a smile??well, not a smile but a grin crept on her lips. She looks like she's already laid something on the table. An agenda.

"Everything's fine. Actually, I've given him a chance. Well, not absolutely a real chance but it's my way to lay down my plan."

I knew it.

"And what exactly is that?"

"I'm planning of a revenge, just like what you said."

"That will be awesome."

Then, we both grinned.

Just seconds after that, the bell rang and the class started.

"Good morning, guys. Today, we will tackle about phantasm. This has something to do with our previous lesson which is the psyche or the mind. First one, what is phantasm? Anybody of you?"

I sighed and leaned my right elbow on my table and put my palms on my cheek.

"Yes? Ms. Lilia?"

I sighed again. This is always getting boring. Come on... Ugh! Only those nerd guys enjoy this type of atmosphere. So incredibly boring!

I just pretended to be taking down notes for the rest of the time. It makes me want to nap! I stared at the writings on the board and tried to absorb everything while stopping myself from falling asleep. Seriously? This teacher doesn't impress me. She couldn't even grab my interest. She just adds my boredom. It annoys me! Come on, I am one of those students who pay her, but it seems that she's only wasting it. She shouldn't have become a teacher. She doesn't even know what she's doing.
