"Hey Glen. You okay?" I asked.

Glen had been looking pretty stressed out lately. Then again, who wouldn't be. This world had gone to crap. I figured it had something to do with him arguing with Lori though.

"Oh. Yeah. I'm...I'm okay. I guess." He replied glumly. I knew something was defiantly wrong.

I raised an eyebrow. "You sure? You can talk to me you know. I'm here if you need me."

He looked up at me and then back down at the ground. "What if you knew some things...about some people...and you couldn't tell but you knew it was wrong not to."

"Glen? What going on?" I began to get more curious.

He sighed and looked at me.

"Gle-"

"Lori's pregnant and Hershel's keeping walkers in the barn." He quickly whispered.

My eyes widened and I couldn't believe what I had just heard.

"Wait what?!" My mouth let out.

"Shh!" Glen looked around. "You have to promise you won't say anything! No one is supposed to find out yet."

"But Glen-"

"Please!"

"What's goin on? You kids alright?" Dale came up and asked.

"Uh..." I looked at Glen and he gave me a look that said 'Please don't say anything'. I looked back at Dale who looked confused. "Yeah..everything's fine Dale" I smiled at him and grabbed my gun. "Just chit chattin. Nothin to worry about ol' man." I patted his shoulder and walked away.

I kept my head down trying to process the news that I had just heard. Lori's pregnant? That means there's gonna be a baby in this group how are we gonna fend for it? And Hershel! Walkers? In the barn? How crazy is this man?!

My thoughts were suddenly interrupted when I bumped into someone. I looked up and Darly held onto my arms keeping me from falling.

"Ya think you could walk with out havin to watch ya feet." He said.

I quickly regained balance. "Uh-Sorry. I didn't see you."

"Obviously." He began to walk away with his crossbow on his back as usual.

"Where you headed?" I asked. I knew he was gonna go hunting. I wanted to go and maybe improve on my shooting. I needed practice..a lot.

"Huntin' " he replied.

"Do you mind if I come?"

"Yes."

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "C'mon please. I need the practice. You know that! I DID miss when I shot at you!" I said trying to convince him to let me go.

He turned around with a raised brow.

"What if it had been a walker?" I continued.

He turned around and started to walk again. "You'd better be quit out there."

I smiled and started walking with him. "Quiet as a mouse."

"Quitter." He growled.

"You see that one over there?" He whispered in my ear as we lay flat on the ground.

"By the tree?" I asked.

"Yeah. Now I want ya' to just aim, breath, and pull the trigger. Don't get nervous on me again." He whispered.

I held his crossbow and aimed for the squirrel. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath in.

"Don't be stupid. Open ya eyes." He growled. I rolled my eyes and tried again. The squirrel looked up and around. It was about to climb up the tree but it was too late. An arrow had already pierced his stomach. Daryl and I both ran up to it. He looked at it and picked up the arrow with the squirrel hanging from it.

"Nice one. You got it." He said pulling the squirrel off and wiping the arrow on his pants. I smirked and we continued walking.

Daryl wasn't what u thought he was. Most people thought he was just like his brother, but he wasn't. He was just outcasted like him. Daryl actually had feelings, and I could tell he had to have some part of him that cared about us. Enough to come out and literally risk his life just to gather up dinner. I mean... He was only human. Let's just hope it stayed that way.
