We returned back to the camp right after hunting. Daryl had shown me a little bit about what I needed to know. Although he wasn't the nicest guy about it, I was still happy I learned something. I only got to shoot once though because Daryl was very strict about his crossbow. I was lucky to even have touched it. It was only cause my gun was too loud to shoot.

"Uh..thanks by the way." I half smiled at Daryl.

He looked at me from the corner of his eyes and nodded "No prob'em."

"I used to go out hunting with my dad sometimes." I said trying to make conversation.

"Yeh." He nodded. " I can tell. You're a lil' rusty but you kinda know wha' your doin."

I chuckled. "Yeah. I rarely went with him though. I regret not spending enough time with him." I sighed. "I was always worried about perusing my career and being successful that I totally ignored my family you know."

"Hm. Well..." He grumbled. "At least you had your family. All I really had was Merle..." He said biting his lips.

"I'm sorry." I said knowing it must have been tough just thinking about Merle being out there. "I know how hard it must be."

"Do you really?" He asked sarcastically.

"Yeah. I do." I said harshly. I sighed and calmed down. "Just wondering if they're even out there... alive,...dead,...bit..."

"Sorry." He said. Realizing he wasn't the only one who had lost someone.

"It's tough living in this messed up world now. But you know..." I looked him in his eyes. They were a beautiful blue shade. "You don't have to do it alone."

He started bitting his lip again and slightly nodded. "I'm gonna go hand these over to Dale." He said pointing at the bunch of squirrel and rabbit.

I nodded and decide to see how Glen was doing. I walked over to the RV with my hands in my pockets.

"Hey, where's everyone at?" I asked him.

"Rick and Shane took everyone to go practice shooting." he replied. "Where were you?"

"I was uh...out doing my own practice...with Daryl. He went out hunting so I tagged along." I replied.

"Really? Why didn't you just go with Rick and Shane?" He asked confused.

I shrugged. "I figured it'd be better to go with Daryl."

"Since when?"

"I don't know. Look he's not that bad. I didn't think he should go alone anymore. Especially since the other day he almost died being by his self. Plus I needed some practice."

"Okay..." He raised his eyebrows. "Uh...I told Dale by the way."

I furrowed my brows. "Told him what?"

"About Lori and Hershel." He said quietly.

"Oh. Well uh...what did he say?"

"Not much. He was just uh..shocked of course. I think he's gonna talk to Rick about it but I'm not sure. But Maggie is pissed. She doesn't want anyone else to know."

I nodded slightly. "Well, if that's the right thing to do..." I sighed. "I'm gonna go see how dinner is coming along."

He nodded and I began to walk to where Hershel was cooking the squirrel and rabbit that Daryl and I had caught.

"Hey." I greeted. I slid my hands in my pocket as he nodded back.

Lori began to walk our way. She looked at the food and then covered her nose with her hair walking away trying to hide the fact that the smell bothered her. I looked at Dale worried. He grabbed the rag off if his shoulder to wipe his hands and walked towards Lori.

He began to talk to her about his wife. I couldn't really make out what they were saying but I knew it was about the baby. I didn't wanna be nosey so i walked off. One thing I knew for sure is that she had to tell Rick before he found out from someone else.

That night I had started getting really curious about the barn. I looked around and everyone was just in their tents and busy. "What the hell." I shrugged. I grabbed the black box from my tent and opened it. I rubbed across the engravings of the expensive pocket knife my dad had gotten me. I quickly slid it in my pockets and put my gun on the waist of my pants. I sneaked out to the barn. I went to the back and saw a stairway to the roof of the barn. I had the worst vibe but my curiosity was getting the best of me. I finally reached the top and it smelled of old hay and death. I pulled out my flashlight and turned it on examining above me and around me. Finally I I pointed it downward and saw the barn full of geeks just reaching up at me craving my warm flesh.

"Oh my god."
