The golden haired boy followed the dark corridor where a light was coming at the end. As he reached the end a door appeared in front of him.

Opening the door brightened the room. The source of light...a hammer. It was beautifully made with a leather grip and had the head of what must have been crafted by the best stone mason ever born.

But right before he went for the  hammer a shadow fell upon him choking him. He gasped for air as the room was plunged in immediate darkness. The struggle was futile it seemed. The realization struck him that he was going to die.

  "Sepitimus!"

Septimus picked his head up from his desk.

"While I'm sure you were just resting your eyes, Mr.Roanoke would you care to tell me who Thor's father is?" Says Mr.Gotrey, the mythology teacher.

Septimus racked his brain for the answer when the image of an old man unlike that of the poster in the front of the room flashed in front of him.

  "Odin."

Mr.Gotrey looked shocked as if he had never thought Septimus would get a question right in his life."Very good."

Class carries on with Mr.Coffey calling in Septimus once more before the bell rang signaling lunch.

Strangely  the first one to leave the room was Mr.Godfrey who, immediately  upon exiting the door, broke into a full sprint for the exit.

"Must've been in a hurry to renew his porn subscription," commented John Hallow, the football captain and most popular kid in school.

Everyone except for Septimus laughed.Instead a feeling of dread had enveloped him and then passed so fast he wondered if he had imagined it.

He followed the rest of the kids into the average brown colored hall forwards the lunchroom.

"Junk of a pigpen isn't it mate?"

Septimus turned to regard the speaker of the comment.

It was a dark haired boy with the deepest of green eyes with just a hint of mischievousness that resided there. He were a black t-short and jeans.

   "I'm sorry,"Septimus said,"do I know you?"

"Doubtfully now,"the boy replied,"but you used to."

Before Septimus could respond the boy regarded the kitchen."Nasty looking slop shop."

"Why do you come here if you thinks it's all nasty?"

"For you," The boy replied simply.

"Who are you anyway?" Septimus asked.

Before the boy could respond Septimus made the worse mistake in his entire life.

As John had come by Septimus  had shifted position as to really regard the boy and his motion  dropped John and sent him sprawling.

As John rose with spaghetti staining his green football Jersey, Septimus had turned to find the boy had seemingly vanished.

   Story of my life.

Suddenly he was slammed up against the wall.

    "You're gonna regret that Roanoke."

As his fist went back, the boy suddenly was behind John and caught his elbow and threw him across the cafeteria.

"He doesn't feel right,"the boy commented in a bored voice.

   John charged at him.

Just as Septimus thought the boy would be flattened the strangest thing happened. John went through him as if he were never there.

As everyone in the cafeteria started freaking out some full on running out, John seemed to get bigger his body taking on a blue hue. He became monsterous in size he had yellow eyes, pointy teeth and the temperature in the room dropped majorly.

The boy snapped his fingers excitedly. "That's it,"he exclaimed,"he's a frost giant."

He looked up to see the giant above him.

"While I realize I might have been a little late at figuring that out, a simple good job or congratulations would still be greatly appreciated."

The giant lunged but not at the boy but at Septimus.

A weird feeling came from  within him seeming to drain him and right before the giant came into contact a shield of electricity  blew him back.

  The giant roared.

It was suddenly  blown off it's feet.

The boy was back and with a golden scepter in his hands. As Septimus  took a closer look and realized there were five mirror images of the boy surrounding the giant.

"Can you find me?"the boy taunted the giant.

When the monster went to attack one of them it cried out in pain as another struck it.

"I tire of this," the boy says and with that being said he points the scepter at the giant and a neon green light shot out and struck the giant in the chest blowing it open completely...along with the school cafeteria.

Sirens could be heard off in the distance.

The boy turns to Septimus," We need to leave. Now."

"I'm not going anywhere with you Septimus  argued."You may have saved my life and I thank you for that but that doesnt change the fact that I don't even know who you are."

"Bloody hell,"the boy says."I don't have time for this."

The air ripples and instead of a black t-shirt and jeans the boy stood in multicolored armor.

His green eyes meet Septimus's blue ones. But that's not what chills Septimus to the core it's the words he says.

   "I am Loki,"the boys says,"the Trickster God."
