I run through the barrier between platforms nine and ten, Ginny behind me. We come out the other side laughing. I haven't truly laughed in a long time, it feels nice. Ron and Hermione come through after us.

We run to the train shouting our goodbyes to Mr and Mrs. Weasley. I hop on as the train whistles for departure. I grab Ginny's wrist, pulling her on with me. We stumble onto the train, Ginny landing atop me. We laugh wildly, gathering stares from other passengers.

"Hey lovebirds," I look over to see Ron next to a giggling Hermione, "lets go find an empty compartment." I try to get up, realizing Ginny is still atop me.

"Uh, Gin?" I laugh.

"Sorry, Harry." she gets up, pulling me with her. We follow Hermione and Ron to a compartment. I sit next to Ginny, while Ron and Hermione sit across from us.

"So, what did Dumbledore need you for?" Hermione questions, looking at us curiously.

"Sorry 'mione we want to tell you, we really do, but we can't. "Ginny says, looking guilty.

"We'll ask Dumbledore if we can tell just you two. All we're sure we can tell you is that we will be doing extra lessons with Dumbledore." I look at Ginny, then back at them.

"That's all? That's it! You can't tell us anything more than the fact that you're doing extra lessons?" Ron yells, only stopping when Hermione puts her hand on his shoulder.

"I for one think it's great. And Ron, if they can't tell us, then they can't tell us." Hermione says calmly.

"Thank you Hermione. It seems as though someone is happy with us." Ginny glares at Ron, whose face turns red. I stare out the window lost in thought.

"Anything from the trolley? Anything from the trolley?" The witch's voice snaps me back into reality. I look away from the window and at Ginny.

"How much for pumpkin pasties?" I hear Ginny's voice, but she isn't saying anything. I shake my head, dismissing it. I hear it a second time "I wonder where Luna is."

"Ginny, tell me what you were just thinking about." Everyone in the compartment stares at me blankly.

"Uhh, I was wondering where Luna is. why?" Her face shows a bit of confusion. I look at her, locking my eyes with hers, thinking, I heard your thoughts. Her look of confusion turns to one of surprise. "How'd you?..." she trails off.

"What's going on here?" Hermione asks, staring around at us.

"It was nothing," Ginny says this a little too quickly.

"Quibbler!" A familiar birdlike voice calls from the aisle. Luna's head pops around the corner, her long blonde hair is twirled into an intricate braid. Her face is framed by dozens of ringlets, while her eyes sparkle blue over her pale delicate face. Luna is surprisingly important to me. Not in an intimate way, but in a sibling way. I know she's pureblood so that makes us some type of cousins.

"Hi Luna! We were just discussing you," Hermione greets Luna. "Did you finish your summer homework?"

"Oh, yes! It was truly fascinating, though my understanding is that most students don't find gnargles nearly as fascinating as I do..." Luna trails off, staring out the window. "I truly am sorry Harry," Her eyes focus on mine "about your godfather I mean." Her expression softens, I can feel a wheight in my chest at the mention of sirius, I swallow hard, preventing tears.

Ginny catches my eye, "Don't think about it, it isn't your fault." her voice in my head is soft.

"I'm okay," I reply silently, Her eyes soften in my gaze. We tune out the others' conversation, staring at each other for a bit. I could tell she was worried, her lips were pursed tightly and her eyes were locked on me. I broke the gaze to see the castle in the far distance. The sky had turned dark and the train was now dimly lit by lanterns.

"We should get into our robes, we're almost there." I say, breaking a heated argument between Ron and Hermione. Luna had left the compartment. Now everyone's eyes were on me, no, behind me. I turned around to see a girl, she was running, no, flying next to the train. Her hair was pitch black, and she had big black feathered wings carrying her through the wind. Her frame was thin and tall. Her skin was almost translucently pale. Her eyes glowed light blue, she was staring straight at me. I don't know why, but her gaze made me open the windows, allowing her into the compartment. She landed in the middle of the small area, Her short white dress looked as though it had once been long, but was ragedly torn a couple centimetres above her knees.

"I'm bianca," she breathed heavily. I turned to close the windows, but she stopped me. "don't, my sister will be in soon." another girl swooped in, landing next to Bianca. Her hair was pure white, Her skin as pale as Bianca's, Her eyes a dark midnight blue colour. Her wings were silvery, more like ones of a dragon, she wore a black dress, much like Bianca's white one. She had more of a lanky frame than her sister, she was also taller and slightly thinner.

"I'm Keira, I suppose you've already met Bianca?" She runs her hands through her white hair.

"I don't mean to sound rude, but what are you?" Ginny asks, amazed.

"They're kinnaras," Hermione state's quietly.

"What?" Ron questions loudly.

"Kinnaras, we are born from witches and wizards that have bird forms of animagus. Or in my case, dragon forms." Keira explains, spreading her silvery wings.

"We have been invited by Dumbledore to attend school at Hogwarts, he told us to find Harry Potter. That he and his friends would take kindly to us." Bianca turned to face me, then to face the others.
