Orphans and adoption

I had told my family that I wanted to adopt a week ago now and they all reacted well and a couple of days ago I got told about a girl called Kylah Butler who recently lost her parents and from what they told me she sounded perfect.

One week later Mrs Andrews came to collect me as my ribs were less bruised and my leg had shown some progress of heeling. She brought me some clothes as the ones I was wearing when we crashed were blood stained , she had brought me a neon green sweater, a t-shirt with kittens on, some pink and purple stripped leggings and some sneakers that were way too small.

I took my crutches and medication of the doctor and left.

We got into Mrs Andrews Mini Cooper that's when she said "we need to go to your old apartment and collect your belongings, do you think your ready" I replied ' I think so'

When we got to the apartment I found the key and walked in with Mrs Andrews carrying the boxes behind me. I straight away went to my room and found the suitcase my family used to use when we were moving house and filled it with my clothes, shoes, wash bag, baby blanket and teddy then I filled the first box with some of moms jewellery, pictures, some of my sisters things then some family hair looms then finally I filled the third box with some books, and some of my moms make up, one of dads t-shirts then one of moms sweaters. When I had done I collected the little money we had in the house, my passport, my old Samsung phone and it's charger and rang my best friend Liz, as soon as she picked up she screamed at me "why haven't you been picking up its been 2 weeks and you've ignored my texts and phone calls everything. The only excuse you have is if someone's died" she went quiet when I didn't say anything " oh my god I'm so so sorry who's died Hun " I replied " we were all in a car crash I'm the only survivor , my whole family died , mum , dad and lily , all of them are gone . I'm going to the orphanage now" we were almost in tears " I'm so sorry " Liz replied " I have to go Mrs Andrews is waiting for me, love you" "love you too" Liz said then she went .
