Born in the year 1998, Joelene Slater was an inquisitive child, always eager to see what lie just ahead for her. She had a natural affinity for animals and, having grown up with horses and other assorted farm animals, it seemed only natural that she pursue a career involving them. Currently, as of 2016, she is an avid equestrian with two wonderful horses and a pet pooch named Casey who celebrated her birthday right after Joelene's on the eleventh of November.
Ever since her second year in middle school, Joelene had loved to write stories. Being a single child in a divided family, she had to rely on her imagination more to occupy herself and to stay out of trouble-- unsuccessfully, she'd like to admit. It was with this imagination that she pursues writing as a hobby to express herself and her innermost feelings.
