They were both alone in a world that was never quiet.

Todd used to be your normal slacker. Living on the California coast as a man of the surf, he never wanted to take the time to get an education or a job. He lived just fine out of the back of his broken down van and his rich old man's pocketbook. That is, until he died and rose to life again. Now he has a new goal: to find a cure, but before that, cake.

Life was simple for Tsuki- patrol, protect, eat, repeat. He liked it this way. The ways of his pack were strict, but predictable. Pups would grow up to be strong young warriors to carry on their parents' lineage to the next generation. While they did not always live in peace, they were content. They were, for the most part, a thriving community. That all changes one stormy night when a flash flood sweeps Tsuki away and he is washed out to sea. Once he awakes, he finds himself hopelessly lost with no clue where home or even where he is. When he finally washes ashore, the land is completely foreign and the wolves that inhabit it even moreso. There are dark secrets that haunt this new land, secrets that endanger all three of the wolf packs who call it home. Will this new stranger manage to figure out what is happening before it is too late? There is one thing he knows for certain: wherever his paws may lead, the only one he can count on is himself.
