Prologue
" I want you to kill an old friend of mine, Jay Wither. He owes me money that he stole. I want you to bring back his head and whatever money he is hiding in his safe. " My employer had fear in his eyes when he looked at me.

"How much will I get?" The only question I asked before I walked out.

"300 shillings but-" I walked out before he even finished. While walking I felt a presence behind me. I turned around fast and swiped my right leg. Mack barely dodged it.

"Whoa would it hurt to let your defense down a bit I just wanted to talk" he said with a smirk on his face but I gave him a glare and continued walking. Mack caught up with me but I ignored him.

"You know about that assignment you were just given I'm your partner." I stopped and took a long look at him and scoffed at him that said, 'you? What can you do?'

"Will I guess your employer doesn't trust you enough with his money" I was starting to get pissed off so I punch him and kneed him in the stomach and left him lying on the ground "you're gonna regret th-" he didn't finish before he fainted.

We've been waiting in Jay Wither's apartment for him to come home, while I sat down on the couch picking at my nails. Mack stalked around finding something to do while trying to talk to me but I ignored him and gave him a yawn instead.

"You sure he doesn't have any cameras watching this place?" the stupidest question I heard my whole life. I only gave him a bored face, "bitch" he muttered, I sent a knife flying missing his head by a millimeter, he looked back at me with fear and rage I only sent him a smirk.

Then we were silent as we heard footsteps in the hall. I took a glance at where Mack was supposed to be but he wasn't there, he was probably hiding somewhere being a coward.

Jay Wither walked in, but something was off. I moved away from the couch fast but a pair of arms held me tight.

I could tell it was Mack trying to hold me back because he had to use all his strength to keep me still and I made sure there was no one else in the apartment except for us.

I tried reaching for my knife tucked to my side but before I could get it I felt something sharp where my heart was supposed to be.

I looked up and saw Jay who was pointing a knife at me, he had sweat coming down his forehead and fear in his eyes.

I sent him a smirk and when he looked at my eyes he flinched, "come on I can't hold her any longer!" Mack yelled behind me.

The man just stared at my eyes I knew what he saw, a pair of emotionless eyes that had a strong killing intent and wouldn't spare any mercy to anyone. Master always told me what my eyes always looked like.

I was getting tired of this game of waiting so I moved forward dragging Mack with me, the knife coming closer to me, the man kept on moving back but I kept moving forward until he hit the wall, hands shaking almost dropping the knife.

I didn't feel Mack's weak arms binding me. I was about to close my fingers around the man's neck but right at that moment a sharp pain hit me from the back I turned around slowly looking at Mack holding the knife that I threw at him. He was sweating, shaking, and smiling like a psycho. I was about to tackle him but I fell onto my knees and looked up at him and sent him a chilling twisted smile and said loud enough for him to hear before darkness took over me, "coward."
