I woke up and sighed, getting up and rubbing my eyes before a long yawn erupted from my mouth. I got out of bed and made up my purple bedsheets and aqua blanket before heading downstairs.
I expected to be greeted by a 'Mornin'!' or a 'Hi how are you?' (SpongeBob reference! If you get it you're a star ☆☆) But there was none, just eerie silence. I looked around before saying aloud, "Mom? Dad?" No reply. Creeeeepy.
I walked into the kitchen and made myself cereal. Since the microwave is right next to the fridge, I looked at it while putting up the milk. I gasped, "8:45?! HOLY COW I'M LATE!!!!" I grabbed a washed apple and rushed to school while eating it quickly. Mom and dad were going to kill me.
