Chapter 7

"Sooo how do you find this place so far?" Amelia said taking a bite out of the apple and smiling at me. "Well it's beautiful. Everything looks so well kept and the people here are lovely. Especially you Amelia." I said smiling and reaching out for (favourite food). Placing it on my plate I smiled even wider and gobbled it up. I saw everyone staring at me and I blushed. "Sorry. I haven't eaten in some time thats all." Amelia nodded and Freddy giggled. "That's all right. It was a long journey after all. Anyway, Y/N, you are going to be taking care of Freddy here. That means taking him to school and back, bathing him, feeding him, playing with him and all the other standard stuff. Understand?" She said raising an eyebrow at me. I looked at the little brunette and giggled. "Of course. He's probably a cute little sweetie pie anyway." I said and Freddy looked at me and frowned. "I'm not a sweetie pie! I'm Fweddy the gweat!" He said striking a dramatic heroic pose. "Could you cut that out?" Frederick said growling at the little boy.  Amelia stood up and dusted herself off. "Whenever you and Freddy have finished eating, take him upstairs to his room and help him get changed. Then get his books ready and take him to school." And with that she left. I looked at Freddy who was sitting in his chair staring at me with puppy eyes. I stood up and walked over to him crouching down to his height. "You ready?" I said making him nod. I stood back up and held his hand leading him out the room.
