"Hey, My name is Dave"

"Hey Dave, the name is Coleen. You must be new here because I don't recognize you?"

"Oh yes, in fact my Mother and I just moved here in New York yesterday."

"Well, you chose the right place. New York is a beautiful place. Always have and always will."

"Just like you."

"Excuse me?"

"No. I mean yes. You're really beautiful. And, will you go out with me?"

-------------------

Flashbacks went through my mind as I stared at my ceiling. Dave and I dated for about a month and suddenly he stopped talking to me for no apparent reason. I miss him. I really do.

"Coleen! Coleen, open the door now!"

I hate my sister's voice. Yes she is Cara DeLevingne, a model, but that doesn't mean I have to be so nice to her just because she's a model and my older sister.

"Are you opening the door or what?!" Cara said as she slapped her palm in my door

I opened the door and saw Cara holding a letter in an envelope.

"What is this?" I told her with a confusing look

"Its a letter for you, Idiot. It must be from your school."

"Okay, so can you leave my room now?"

Cara rolled her eyes at me as she left my room. Gosh! Don't she ever do that again! I may claw her eyes out if I have a chance.

I opened the letter Cara gave me and I screamed in shock when I finished reading the letter.

Dear Ms. Coleen Andrea DeLevingne.

Good Day to You! This letter serves as an information letter for you to know that you are one of

New York University's seniors that will graduate as a Valedictorian.

We know that you worked hard for this, and we are so happy that you finally reached your goals.

Congratulations. Ms. DeLevingne!

                                                                           New York University

OH MY GOSH! I really want to slap myself if this is just a dream! Finally, from all my hardwork, I finally achieved one of my dreams. To graduate as a Valedictorian. I went downstairs to tell my mom the good news and I found her at the kitchen.

"Mom! Mom! Mom!" I said repeatedly until I finally got her attention

"What is it Coleen?"

"I'm graduating as a Valedictorian!!!"

"Wait, what?" She looks at me in 'are you even serious' look

I gave her the letter and just like me, She couldn't believe it too.

"Oh my god Coleen, I'm so proud of you." She hugged me as tears filled her eyes

"Did my best."

"I know honey, and I'm so so so proud of you."

"Mom, can I go to the library today? I have to finish my homework."

"Yeah sure."

I rushed upstairs to go to my room and heard my phone ring. A call from my boy best friend. Cool.

"Mason?"

"Yo Coleen, Are you coming to the party tonight?"

A moment of silence for me. The party is tonight. I have many obligations on my studies because I am  Valedictorian now and I'm afraid I might lose it because of this party.

"I..I don't know. I was thinking about going to the library today because of homework. So maybe I'm not going."

"Oh C'mon. The party is at 7 and you can go at the library before you go. Just please come to the party."

"Fine."

"Yes! See you later!"

I threw my phone at my bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I sang Because of You by NeYo because it really describes my feelings. I'm serious.

I went out of the shower and chose a shirt with a "Celine Paris" on it and shorts that i paired with my floral vans. After that, I put on a little bit of mascara, lip gloss and blush on as my make up. I walked my  way to the library and started reading a book that is related to my homework.

A random guy walked to me and asked me if I am coming to the party. I realized it was Dave. Dave Franco. The guy I went out with 3 years ago.
